Some Virginia wine fans who prefer a slicker, more corporate type of winery like Blue Valley or Barboursville may not appreciate the location. But this is the way Virginia wineries should be - off the beaten trail, a beautiful setting, counter tastings, and good prices. I can't imagine a better way to spend a warm afternoon. And they're located near Old Rag Mountain. But do your hike before visiting Sharp Rock. You won't want to leave.“
