“Off the beaten path and worth every mile of the drive. We have been to visit Mary and David several times now and the wine, the view nor the conversation disappoints. Mary and David provide a very intimate experience for those interested in wine - it is not often that you are tasting with the growers and winemakers themselves. Their wines are some of our favorites in the VA Blue Ridge area - Mom prefers the Gruner Veltliner and my favorite is the Jump Mountain Rosé. Sitting at the base of Jump Mountain just adds to the ambiance.“

“We had a fabulous day at Shep’s winery. The weather was perfect, the wines were delicious and the band, Porch Dogs, were great. The best thing was my husband seeing two of his old school mates from back in the day, Shep and one of the band members, Everett and of course me getting to meet them!! Also, me being a dog lover, you can bring your leashed, good dog and enjoy the sun & fun with your family/friends. Don’t forget to purchase some wine and other memorabilia they have to offer!!
