They built the most incredible menu for us and the food was the most delicious wedding food I have ever tasted! Everyone at our wedding was blown away by both the food and the service. Emelie is a dream to work with and was so responsive to changes and questions. She sought out rentals to ensure my exact vision came to life. Her team is amazing and everyone who was on site was so friendly, helpful, and professional. I cannot say enough good things about Corcoran! If you are considering the as your caterer - DO IT! You cannot go wrong! Emelie went above and beyond to honor our requests. “Old Blue catered my daughters wedding. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. Old Blue has the best BBQ food in the greater DC area - so, that would be enough to recommend them - however, if you are planning an event, you will not believe the quality of the service they offer. Everyone was helpful, had great suggestions, they even shared decorations with us. The day of the wedding was also perfect - they were attentive and seemed to anticipate every need. Again, they would be worth it just for the food, but they perfect because of everything else.“

“Where to begin... got the chance to visit Paradise Ice Cream. Great and prompt curbside pickup service. OMG the ice cream cookies are so good but the strawberry cheesecake on sugar cookie is my favorite. I wish I had taken a picture prior but there is nothing left. Can't wait to go back to try more of their homemade ice cream flavors.“

“We visited DC this weekend from NC. I went to DC Vegan with my non-vegan husband. Two days later he's still raving about the chick'n cutlet club. He said it was the best "chicken" sandwich he ever had and I can't convince him it was actually vegan 😆 Well done friends 👏👏 I had the artichoke bowl which was fantastic and the cheesecake is to die for! Wish we could have stayed in DC longer as I would have loved to try the other menu items.“

“We hired Tasteful Affairs Catering for our October 2025 wedding, and we are so glad that we did!! Emilie was our primary contact and she was a dream to work with!! She is SO communicative (both email and phone), listens to your ideas and vision and also has super helpful suggestions. An earlier review called her a quasi wedding planner, and this is so true! Emilie helped us make so many decisions from the menu, the linens/table setting, to have a tent or not, etc. Because she is so familiar with our venue, her insights and experience were invaluable. Both my spouse and I can be worriers, and she handled our anxiety with such ease and care, and she was so clearly on top of everything, that our anxiety was very quickly eased. Emilie is so personable and clearly cares about the work she does and people she works with. The food was SO good at our first tasting and they were open to our feedback on making small changes. They helped us curate a menu we loved and the food on our wedding day was superb! One guest said it was the best meal they had had in years! “Dining at shababi was an absolute delight. I came to celebrate after I finished taking my board exams and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. To start they brought some hummus topped with shredded beef and beat spread, which the former was my favorite. They later brought the roasted chicken which had been marinated for 48 hours plus. Every bite was so flavorful. As this is a pop up I recommend you go soon and get a feel for Palestinian food“

“We love Washington DC so my wife and I wanted some pizza. We were staying at the Embassy suites in NW so I googled pizza that was close by. Pizzoli‘s pizzeria came up. It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. Would certainly recommended, and we will be back home future visits.“

“This company provided food and service for my husband’s retirement party. We had 50 guests and everyone privately asked me the name of the company who provided such great top of line quality food. The youngest guest was 15 months old and the older just turned 80 but Allspice was able to serve yummy and elegant food ( all guest needs covered: gluten free/ vegetarian/ vegan/ ) the presentation was outstanding and cleanup discreet so we kept partying the night away. My experience with Ridgewells Catering was absolutely splendid. The food was all great and the salad I had was maybe of of the best I've every eaten. Even some foods i normally don't like that were on the menu were very enjoyable.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful too. I am disabled and use a cane, without needed to ask one of the staff asked to help me and other guests. Their service really is top quality from what I observed and worth looking into for one's social event.“
“The food was spectacular. Our daughter even made the statement that the pasteles were better than my mom's. She has been disowned. The quantity was great and the pricing reasonable. There was so much food that we sent some to New York City for an Easter party for 10 the following Sunday.I would have preferred more of the meat filling in the Pasteles. Flavor was very good but a bit sparse in volume. We had a miscommunication on the Paella. We got crayfish and I thought we were getting Lobster. We could have ordered 1/2 of what we did and met our needs. But that was great for us. We froze the excess and are taking it every couple of days and again reminiscing about my childhood as we enjoy our Puerto Rican cuisine again.“

My sister said Bruce was very easy to work with and his team crafted this beautiful charcuterie board. It was beautiful and delicious! We highly recommend them for any of your needs, big or small! Ours contained nuts, olives, dried figs, dried apricots, fresh pears, fresh berries and grapes, tons of crackers and crisps, huge portions of a variety of gourmet cheese and meats, and a massive amt of tortellini.“

“I recently celebrated my service to the nation. I opted to use Patton Hall for convenience, accessibility, parking, and overall space. The Pentagon would have been too impersonal. Helena was tremendously helpful through the process. She provided advice on the room setup, quickly made adjustments to meet my needs, and made me confident that I would not have to worry about the venue. The staff were friendly. attentive, and helpful on the day of the event. And the food was great. I wish I could have eaten more but had to attend to my guests. Bottom line, I did not have to worry about the event; Five-star Catering and the Patton Hall staff made that part very easy for me.“

“Let me start out by saying that outside of picking food, my husband and I really wanted no part in wedding planning after we got engaged. The whole process seemed overwhelming at best, and we had no idea where to start. At the same time, we wanted our wedding reception to reflect us as a couple, and for all of our friends and family to have a great time. I had known Vicky since middle school and was a frequent at her family's restaurant in Springfield, so I was thrilled to find out that she has started her own catering and event styling company. From the moment we hired Vicky and her team, they just got it. We sent a few Pinterest pictures and discussed our love for Southern food, and Vicky really took it from there. She knew exactly what we were envisioning with little to no direction. Literally everything that the Heirloom team put together, starting with the personal tasting for my husband and parents, to the flower arrangements, tablescapes and small details was nothing short of amazing. The entire staff was completely professional and never missed a beat. I should also mention that there was a pretty bad ice storm the morning of our wedding, which apparently flipped one of the rental trucks and left other vendors stranded, only hours before our event. Vicky sprung into action and not only made sure that everything was on time and in perfect condition, I didn't even HEAR about the whole ordeal until after the night was over. I truly don't think we would have even had a wedding had we hired any other company. Seriously, if you want the BEST FOOD (we STILL have people raving about it to us) and the most beautiful event you've ever hosted-look no further!! Heirloom DC is worth their weight in gold!!“
