“Last night in a rush, I came to grab dinner and under much pressure and time restraints, not only was I greeted with a beautiful smile by Layla, but the team prepared my food and smoothie in a jiffy! I honestly felt like it was made with love and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and the flatbread was well-prepared. After a long, hard day, something so small like a trip to Trop (lol) really put me in a much better mood. The place was clean and while I waited, the small talk with the team was refreshing. They seem super knowledgable on the menu items and suggested a few new additions I can order next time. I am not one to leave reviews often (sad, but true) but this visit left me no choice! “This spot is one of the few Vietnamese street snack shops in the DMV area that’s truly owned and operated by Vietnamese staff. I stopped by over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised to find a wide variety of authentic street snacks. I ordered the fried rice cake, and it was delicious—very close to what I remember having in Vietnam years ago.

I had already grabbed a drink before arriving, so I didn’t try their milk tea this time, but it’s definitely on my list for the next visit.
