“Now that the hype has somewhat died down, ramen enthusiasts like me can return and enjoy a bowl of ramen without the crazy wait times. Initially, the restaurant didn't handle crowd control well in their early months. There was no waitlist system, making it hard to justify waiting a couple of hours just for a bowl of ramen. But now that the curious crowd has dispersed, I've come back a few times to check the consistency of the flavor and to see if it might become my go-to spot for ramen. For this visit, we ordered the Classic Omurice Combo with curry sauce and the Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu. The Omurice Combo really stood out. We chose curry sauce over demi glace, which was a great decision – the curry sauce seemed to have more depth and paired better with the dish, in our opinion. The egg was cooked to perfection, not too thick and not too runny. The Amazing Lemonade drink with cucumber added to the experience, being refreshing and elevating the taste to another level. The Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu was also impressive. It featured thin slices of pork chashu, similar to my favorite ramen place in NYC. The smoky flavor of the chashu was excellent, adding aroma and depth to the dish. The slightly salty seaweed, along with the soft, sweet bamboo shoots, made for a good combination, enhancing the dish's flavor. The marinated egg, with its balanced taste and just-right cooking, was another highlight. Overall, Kyuramen delivered a memorable meal, with each element of the dishes complementing one another beautifully. The flavor has remained consistent during my recent visits, really standing out. This makes it not only the top spot on my ramen list in VA but also probably my second favorite spot overall in the East Coast. What sets Kyuramen apart is that it's the only ramen place in Northern Virginia that gives you the authentic feel of a ramen store. Sitting at the bar and watching the ramen-making process is a unique experience that adds to the charm. It’s definitely worth visiting for anyone who enjoys a mix of well-prepared flavors and dishes.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Honoo Ramen Bar! Honoo Ramen Bar is an absolute gem and a must-stop in West Falls Church! From the very first bite to the last, everything was exceptional. The Tako Wasabi was perfectly balanced—fresh, briny, and addictive. The Sake Steamed Clams were rich, aromatic, and bursting with flavor… pure comfort in a bowl. The wagyu and toro sushi were incredibly fresh, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious—clearly top-tier quality. And the shrimp dumplings? Steamed to absolute perfection: tender, flavorful, and expertly made. Do not leave without trying the Green Bliss Roll—it’s a standout and an instant favorite. On top of the amazing food, the service is attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making the entire experience even better. Honoo Ramen Bar delivers on every level—food, service, and vibe. If you’re anywhere near West Falls Church, this place is an absolute MUST STOP. I’ll be back again and again! 🍜✨“

“I ate at Kozy Ramen Bar for the first time today and I’m really glad I did. It’s a little tricky to find, and the outside of the building looks a bit sketchy, but don’t let that fool you. This place is a hidden gem of ramen goodness.
Once you step inside, the atmosphere completely changes. The décor is cute, cozy, and relaxing, and it’s a really pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal.
The server was kind and attentive, the portions were generous, and the ramen was seriously tasty. Definitely the kind of place that makes you happy you gave it a chance.
I’m looking forward to coming back again for more ramen soon.“

“This small place packs a ton of fun, flavor, and hospitality. My entire family loves this restaurant and we have a great time taking in all of the sites and tastes. The Ramen is out of this world and my kids get a kick out of the kids menu. This place is great and does not have a ton of seats, but it’s worth the trip and any brief wait! The staff take care of you like you are in their house. Oh, and don’t forget to check out the bathroom! You’ll know what we’re talking about.“

“I cannot say enough good things about the service here! I originally placed an order at a sister location, but after facing a significant delay, I called this shop by mistake thinking it was them. Once I realized and switched my order to this location, the team here was incredible. They prepared the food lightning fast and even included some extra items on the house because of the inconvenience—even though the original delay wasn't their fault at all! It is so rare to find a business that goes above and beyond like this. The food was delicious and the staff is top-tier. Highly recommended!“

“Cute little ramen spot in the heart of Bethesda. Popped in on a Thursday afternoon for a late lunch. My mother and I split an old school shoyu ramen bowl as we don’t eat a ton and it was very yummy! The service was pleasant and prompt and the restaurant and restrooms nice and clean 😊 Would definitely recommend and if we’re in the area again, I’d try their other ramen flavors 👍🏼“

“No Sushi on Tuesday. Went there because friend had Sushi rolls craving but Tuesday Sushi chef is off.
The vegetarian Ramen was good. My friend had the Hot stone pot Spicy pork. He said that good and flavorful. Hope they could have a vegan/vegetarian menu with 5-8 items. they can attract a large plant based crowd.
Next time I go, will try to ask if they can do the hot stone pot or other dishes with Tofu.
The service was great. good atmosphere.“

“It took me years to find a good ramen and sushi place, this place is the best! The owner is so sweet and welcoming, can’t find customer service like what she give anymore. My husband and I make it a point to god every month or two, you always get quality. As being spoiled by NY and NJ for several years we’re picky but this is our spot.“

“Entrees are a $17 and up but the portions are big. It's a food court so I only tipped 10% but I guess you could also not tip. Pictures show 3 entrees but we got 4. Two of them were the bolgogi beef.
If we had gone to a restaurant then it would have cost more than $120 but here it was $80. My seafood ramen was good and huge. Husband enjoyed his katsua chicken and dad & son enjoyed their bulgogi rice bowls.
The food court was empty, but clean.“

“The Tom Volcano Ramen at TomRamen is a fiery, flavor-packed bowl that lives up to its name. Its rich, chili-forward broth delivers intense heat while still offering deep umami comfort. Springy noodles, tender chashu pork, and a creamy egg balance the spice beautifully. At $16.95, it’s a hearty, satisfying choice for anyone craving bold ramen with a kick. I will be coming back again“

“I had one of the best bowls of ramen here and I’m still thinking about it. The broth was incredibly rich and flavorful, with that slow-cooked depth that warms you up instantly. The noodles had the perfect chewy texture, and every bite felt satisfying. The chashu pork was tender and practically melted in my mouth, and the soft-boiled egg was cooked just right with a creamy yolk. You can really tell they put care into every detail, from the toppings to the presentation. It’s the kind of comfort food that makes you want to come back again the next day. If you’re craving authentic, hearty ramen, this place absolutely hits the spot. Highly recommend! 🍜“

“We went to Kusshi on Valentine’s Day and had a great meal. The sushi never misses. Our go to is always the spice rock shrimp, firecracker roll and got beef. It was super busy but we were still able to get a table. The staff was killing it and stayed calm and focused under the pressure of a super busy night. Thanks for making our v-day special!“
“I had Jjajangmyeon and Tangsuyuk. It was reasonable price and both were delicious. I had low expectations since the most of Korean Chinese food in America was not good. But this one was not bad and good price. I would come back again. Hope more people come.“

“If you’re a fan of authentic Japanese comfort food, Kajiken in Falls Church is a spot you absolutely shouldn’t miss.
We started the evening with Gyoza and Takoyaki, and they were the perfect way to begin the meal. The gyoza were nicely crisped on the outside with juicy, flavorful filling, while the takoyaki were warm, soft, and savory — a classic street-food favorite done right.
For my main dish, I ordered the Teriyaki Tori, and it truly stood out. The chicken had a wonderful aroma and a beautifully grilled texture with a slightly crispy bite on the outside while remaining juicy inside. You can really tell it was grilled with care and precision. The flavor was incredibly satisfying and unique — honestly, I’ve had chicken dishes in many places, but it’s hard to find one quite like this. Paired with the noodles, the combination was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced.(And if you’re not a noodles fan, you can easily ask to swap the noodles for rice.)
My husband ordered the Sukiyaki, which was warm, savory, and deeply comforting — the kind of dish that makes a dinner feel complete.
To end the evening, we treated ourselves to dessert: Matcha Crepe Cake with Matcha Ice Cream, and Taiyaki with Vanilla Ice Cream. As someone who truly loves matcha, I have to say the matcha flavor here is the real deal — smooth, fragrant, and beautifully balanced without being overly sweet. The crepe cake layers were delicate and light, and paired with the matcha ice cream it was absolutely delightful. The taiyaki with vanilla ice cream was also a perfect sweet finish.
From the appetizers to dessert, everything felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. A wonderful dining experience overall — we’ll definitely be coming back again.
