“most amazing place on the planet my 18-wheeler broke down on the highway yesterday ended up at Motel 6 called to see if they delivered but they didn't but the nice lady told me to hang on and I think she put her husband on the phone I think his name is Mark and he offered to bring me the most amazing barbecued beef sandwich I had ever eaten I wish there were more people like this in this world it would be a better place”

“My husband and I stopped in on our way back to our sessional home in FL after leaving WV we took a wrong turn and stumbled upon this restaurant. We ordered a large chicken ,bacon and ranch pizza that was absolutely delicious my husband won't stop talking about how good the crust was . We also got the sampler and fried pickles both delicious pickles were crunchy and not soggy . The food came out fast and service was friendly. We will definitely be coming back .”

“I got the 6" meatball on Italian herb & cheese bread with nothing else on it, toasted. I always get this sandwich, it's my go-to choice. This was the best one I've ever had that I can remember. The sauce and meatballs where fresh, the bread was fluffy and well seasoned and it was toasted just right.”

“Incredible food!! The best in Virginia! Made with a lot of love. Owners are super kind and deserve every great compliment. Their employees are trained very well and also extremely polite and well mannered. If you have not tried thier subs yet I highly recommend turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, red onion. S&P, vinegrette that's homemade, pepperchinnies and a touch of mayo. The best sandwich you'll ever have. 50+ ************************ I'll definitely be back!! It would be nice to petition them off with a wall that reaches from roof to floor to help avoid the unpleasant smells.”

“We stumbled across this place while exploring the area (we’re new to the state), and what a gem! The coffee is absolutely amazing…I’m super picky about my coffee, and both the White Chocolate Latte and the Kit Kat Latte were out of this world. Honestly couldn’t pick a favorite! Our kids enjoyed milkshakes and an ice cream cone, and they were just as delicious. The owner and his daughter were so welcoming, sharing a bit of their story and keeping great conversation with us, it made the experience feel personal and genuine. We left so impressed and already can’t wait to come back. And the cherry on top? They have a coffee card where your 10th drink is FREE… Starbucks could never 😜 Highly recommend!”

“This small hometown business is the definition of family atmosphere. The curbside drive in is what you could ask for on a hot sunny day. over 50+ different milkshake flavors and plenty of ice cream options to choose from beyond satisfactory. Service is always amazing and the wait time for for is not more than 15-20 minutes depending on your order. I normally decide on a philly cheesesteak, but their menu is full of so many options. Pricing is very decent and they always have specials going on every day. I suggest stopping by this joint and enjoy some home-cooked meals at a not so expensive price. 10/10 would recommend.”

“We came last night to watch Zephyr Union play live and decided to sit at the bar to grab drinks and a bite to eat. The food was great—I definitely recommend the blackened chicken wrap and the pretzels with beer cheese. The service was excellent! I only got the name of our primary bartender, Tasha, and she was super friendly, attentive, and professional. The other bar staff we encountered were awesome too. I also noticed the restrooms were incredibly clean (which I certainly appreciated). It was my first time at The Mason Jar and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you for a fun Saturday night with great food, drinks, and atmosphere!”

“The food was very good. I ordered the bacon omelet. It was really yummy. The service was good overall, but the food was slow coming out. It took over 30 minutes for us to receive our breakfast food. When it came time to pay, our food bill had a 13% tax added to it. When I asked the cashier about the high tax rate, she didn’t seem to know why, and didn’t seem interested in figuring it out. The rest of my family was anxious to get going, so I didn’t press the issue.”

“One of the best Subway locations, with plenty of indoor seating. Will definitely be back when driving to/from DC to Charlotte to visit family. The girls working today ~4:20pm were very nice and made the sandwiches super quick and perfectly.”

“The food & service are excellent HOWEVER, the music is annoying & too loud. We had a large group recently. We had to yell across the table to be heard over the annoying music. This is a huge problem both inside & on the outdoor patio. We have complained every time we eat there & are told " there is no way to turn it down" It seems as if the volume has been turned up recently. Enjoyable music is in the ear of the beholder; not everyone appreciates the same genre of music. Unless we learn the music has been turned down 🙂 or turned off😁 we will not be back.”

“This is the first restaurant I have seen lately that had a sanitation score of 💯!!! I worked fast food when I was young and I know that the job that these folks do is not easy and somehow there should be recognition and maybe even an award just for making sure you have a clean and sanitary environment that you are distributing food out of! I have traveled from Virginia to South Carolina and back in the last week and none of the other restaurants I visited had a sanitation grade of 100! I don't care if once in awhile an order gets messed up or the wrong food gets handed out to the wrong person, as human error and mistakes do happen... but SANITATION is very important and should be commended!!! BRAVO.... If I had the money of those who are rich, I would make sure that each employee at this establishment received some type of award! Perhaps that's what this world needs... A friendly competition that would give employees in food establishments a reason to improve and to take pride in what they do. I do not think that people in this field get enough recognition for the job that is expected of them, because without them... without all those people who are willing to go flip a hamburger or throw together a taco, or a🍕, all of us doing the other jobs... whether it be office work, selling a car, working on a car...or anything else at all that keeps this country moving (thank you Jesus for those folks)... Or even the moms on their way to the ballgame or cheerleading practice.... We would not have someone to flip that hamburger or throw together that taco so that we can grab a bite to eat while we RUN THE RACE!!!
