“I was reading the reviews. And saw one that bothered me. The reviews was from a man named Thomas. He was not giving a very good review. I eat there regularly and find it to be quite a nice place to eat and talk to the staff and people who eat there. The food is good and service is very good too. They all work hard to bring you your food. I will still go back and what I do not like what this man said. He’s wrong with his assessment. The grille is a good restaurant and has a good staff“

“It has been nearly a decade since I have worked at Charley’s. The atmosphere, staff, and owners had an impact on life that I did not expect in my early 20s. The days where my husband and I dine here have, unfortunately, become less and less these days. There are fewer familiar faces as time passes, but date night always brings us back here. For our 8 year anniversary, we went to Charley’s for date night. We always look around to see if someone we know is working, but we didn’t recognize anyone. We asked to seated on the patio because it was so gorgeous that evening. As we sat, we were met with a bright and smiling face. She introduced herself and recommended our favorite, the hot crab dip. She told us about date night and the drink specials to go with them. She recommended other items and really talked up other drinks and items on the menu. As someone who worked in the service industry and a husband who is in sales, we respected everything she was doing. All with a smile on her face and the best personality. Riley/Ryleigh (forgive me I am not sure how she spells it) was amazing. And we will be going back sooner because of her.“

“They worked very hard to accommodate my gluten allergy although I am not sure they were very successful seeing as how I doubled over in pain almost immediately after eating. The Brussels could be better

“The food was great. Wood plank salmon over rice and asparagus, porter house 1 1/2” thick pork chop over mashed redskin potato’s. Quiet low light, cloth napkins eclectic decor.“

“Breakfast was incredible! Cre, the General Manager, personally took our order and prepared our meals. Every bite was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend stopping by and letting Cre create a special breakfast just for you!“

“The Chef at the Farmville, Va. AppleBees comes out of the kitchen and meets with the customers. Adam is a very nice, very friendly man and will talk to you about any concerns. The Classic Burger is excellent and as of now, I totally choose to eat a burger here over any fast food place. Its cooked fresh, and to your order not like the quick and uncaring way its prepared in those joints. I clean my plate every time I have been at this AppleBees now. I hope this continues.“
