Blue Ridge Bagels is my husband and I's favorite breakfast place in Lynchburg and overall!
Customer service is exceptional; always so kind! They have the best people!
We can count on their food being quality and consistent every time. Quite a variety of choices too, so we never grow tired of eating here, and we have not found a single thing on their menu we didn't like so far. Their food is amazing! Amazing taste, great quality, and fresh, healthy ingredients.
And a great price too, for what you are getting. More reasonable than most other places, which is another reason we love coming here!!!
In summary: Great people, excellent food, all at an affordable price! Other places, we have found to be a hit-or-miss, but Blue Ridge Bagels delivers *every* time and has never once left us dissapointed!
Oh, and great Gluten Free selection as well! (Their GF bagels actually taste better than some other places' regular bagels.)
Note to the owner(s): We especially loved the Red Pepper Gouda soup! Please keep making that more often! ❤

- Any of their muffins/cookies
- Or even just any of their bagels with just cream cheese...

“Me and my wife ordered a late night sweet treat on DoorDash from here because she couldn’t drive out and she was craving ice cream and normally can’t eat cookies but this place is super inclusive and had vegan cookies that she could eat!! It was fast delivery and our cookies were warm and the ice cream was still cold and intact!!“

“HumanKind held their Gratitude Day celebration yesterday and all our desserts came from Chestnut Hill Bakery. We had cookies, doughnuts, brownies, dessert bars, and my favorite, cream puffs. All the treats were a huge hit with our employees. They made everything for us and had it ready to pick up Tuesday morning. One box was left out and they graciously delivered it to us. They were easy to work with and very professional and friendly.“

“The cakes made at the bakery are top notch. I have tried many places. The cakes made at other places are good, but Julie who makes the cakes is the best.“
“Trucker info: Got unloaded in 1 hour. Receiving is in south side of the building. Parked there for overnight. Best route: take US-29 Bus NB, take exit to VA-163 make left turn, right turn to Rivermont Ave and about 0.5 miles left turn to Bedford Ave and left turn to Hollins Mill Rd. In Bedford Ave there is a bridge weight limit sign, that bridge located right after the intersection of Bedford and Hollins Mill. You will make a left turn on that intersection so no worries.“
“A great place to buy bread and pastries. Looks like it's not open but it is. Great place to pickup older bread for dressing, just ask. Very tasty sandwich cookies. Not too sweet. Great prices. Good customer service. I would recommend giving them a try for your bread needs.

“Every time I go past, I try to stop and get something from here as I live an hour away. Today, I went in, looked at the salads, sandwiches, and cookies. I stood at the counter waiting to order. There were 2 ladies talking to 1 customer. They didn't acknowledge me at all. Two people came out of the back at different times and they didn't either. No hello or I'll be with you soon. Totally ignored, I walked out. Their cheesecakes and other pastries are delicious.“
