“Great waffle house, they are kind and seem to have a great way of doing things to get customers in and out. The service was nice and I did not feel like I had to beg for food or service. Overall a great experience, it was nice and clean to, especially for 12 in the “
“Aesthetics are nice however, this place is popular so their small space is packed. Food is why it is packed, very good!Parking: Free parking lot in a strip of stores that all use these spaces. Crowded and fills up fast. Saw people parking next door and walking over.“
“Ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich and a few donuts. Jeez what a find! A hidden gem off the beaten path worth going to! Everything tastes handmade and the service is just wonderful! Skip McDonald’s and give this small business your money instead!!!“
“I have never personally been to this place in Virginia but I will tell you what this is what breakfast and what meals should look like and I can imagine the prices are very affordable too if I ever come to this area I would definitely love to come to this place it looks like home sweet home cooking to me! Makes me hungry just looking at the pictures! ???“
“We ate at The Bistro at Acorn Hill twice this month. The food was awesome as always! Wanda and her staff provide warm and friendly service each time we're there. I love their blueberry pancakes and the omelets are the best in town! I'm part of a breakfast group that meets there regularly and it's become my favorite breakfast stop!Ed Dellinger“
“The biscuits are a cut above other fast food breakfast restaurants. The ingredients are fresh, and the biscuits are light and flaky. The service is always great! You can't go wrong at Biscuit ville. As a bonus, they serve breakfast until 2 PM, which I especially appreciate.“
“Biscuitville is my go to for quick breakfast. I can't get enough of it. My favorite is the sausage egg biscuit with no cheese. I have also recently discovered a newer offering of the ultimate country ham biscuit and I add lettuce and tomato. You also cannot forget the wedge fries and sweet tea. Add some jelly to the sausage and egg biscuit and you have a winner!I prefer the location in Madison Heights as their food seems to be more consistent. The location on Old Forest road has been there but they just rebuilt the building. Initially the service and food was not very good but that has now been corrected. The staff is friendly and offers great service. Every now and then they do overcook the fries. If you bring it to their attention they will correct but since I have been going there forever I usually just keep it moving. Definitely recommend biscuitville as it is a Southern treat!Vegetarian options are limited. I would love to see a good non meat option added to the menu.“
“We arrived to dine-in. But a large LU group of students crowded inside, &waiting to get their food ordered. The cook stated he'd cooked probably 85 or more hashbrowns faster than he had ever, just to get everyone served with Hot Food.“
“I came at 830am on a Friday and the place was busy for one server. Amy is absolutely amazing you would have thought she was the manager. She is kind and fun and knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. She literally was handling all the business on her own and was an absolute professional. She is an all star. I ordered the eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes and it was the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten in my life. I knew I’d like it but I was shocked how much I loved it the flavor and texture was perfect. The roasted potatoes are also amazing and different from what I’d normally expect for breakfast potatoes. Absolutely phenomenal unique flavors best breakfast experience I’ve had in a long time“
“Enjoyed breakfast at First Watch this morning with my husband. The food was outstanding! The omelette was unique and was served hot, and the French toast was just aa amazing served with warm syrup. The service was spot on. We Really could not have asked for a better breakfast. If you haven’t tried First Watch, I recommend you do! It’s one of the best breakfast restaurants in Lynchburg.“
“Food is great and ready in under 15 mins. However, you cannot call in your order. You must go there. There is a service charge for take out.Parking: Parking available in front and side of bldg.Wheelchair accessibility: Two nice areas for handicap parking.“
“My wife’s biscuits and gravy were awesome. The sweet potato pancakes were the best I’ve ever had. I usually smother my pancakes in syrup, I didn’t use one drop. They were so moist and delicious it would have been criminal to change the flavor at all. And our server was very efficient and friendly. This is about 2 hours away from where we live but we’ve already decided it is worth the drive.“
“My daughter surprised me by ordering breakfast and Thanksgiving dinner from IHOP today who delivered it by 9:39am. Breakfast was great, and I just finished the Turkey dinner. It was fantastically good. Turkey slices were clearly from a freshly cooked Turkey, not cut too thin, the stuffing was delicious, the gravy over the stuffing and turkey was delicious and not at all overly salted. The broccoli was perfectly cooked from fresh and the florets were not gigantic but cut down so there were many pieces and easy to eat. Plus, when I picked up the slice of garlic bread, I discovered about 1/3 cup of fresh petit French string beans, also cooked perfectly. I didn’t expect a last minute take out would be anywhere near that good. But it greatly surpassed all my expectations. Thank you. I’m sure what I had was better than what a lot of other people who ate out had. It was better than home made. Often restaurant food is overwhelmed by salt. This was clearly seasoned, but not overwhelmingly salty. I don’t know who was in charge of the kitchen for this big holiday preparation, but they definitely knew what they were doing, and I’d recommend them to anyone.“
“I love this place. Even tho, it's so small and only like 2 outdoor seating and their parking is tiny. This place is cheap, you can choose the bagel type, and what cream cheese you want. The staff is super friendly and patient. I got the lavender lemonade which needs to be more stronger. I also got the bacon street classic which I was more filling but it is still pretty good. I believe they close once everything is sold out.“
