“We were passing by the area and picked this place because it has such great reviews and the place didn't disappoint us. This was a week day and the lunch menu didn't have very many vegetarian options listed but when we asked for dinner menu the manager came and offered vegetarian choices to us and made us feel very welcome. We ordered mixed vegetables, stir fry tofu, and vegetarian lo mein. The food came out quickly and the portion size was great for us. The food was delicious and our server was very attentive. The place is beautifully decorated, plenty of parking outside and clean restrooms. We were very happy with our choice. Do visit this place!”

“Spent a lot of money at this place over the years. came for our anniversary dinner and what a disaster. We waited over an hour, never received our food. I finally asked, only to find out it was never made. We were promised a pizza in 4 or 5 minutes, over 10 minutes later still nothing. We asked for a refund and left. Never coming back again.”

“Traveling for Florida to Pennsylvania, we happened to find “Happy Cinco DeMayo”! Wow…..What a Great Restaurant!!! Fantastic, Homemade, Authentic Mexican Food, the best we have ever had! This should be a “Destination” stop for anyone traveling through this area. Conveniently located at I-77 & I-81, it is easily located. Do not pass up this Mexican cuisine that is far above all the rest. Oh, and almost forgot to mention, “Very Reasonably priced and the Service was “Grrrrreat “! Keep up the great work gang..we’ll be back on our return trip. Bob n Patti, Land O Lakes, Florida”

“Great cooks and master brewers. We both had the bacon cheeseburger, and they were awesome! Switchback DIPA for me and Moon Dog Dark Lager for Cheryl were spectacular. Great fries and onion rings made the burgers that much better. Also, the creole gumbo was delicious and authentic, surprised this dish was available at a brew pub. Our experience was topped off by our very efficient and pleasant server Anna. She was fantastic, a Keeper!!! We pass through the Wytheville area every July on our way to and back from our visit to New Hampshire. First time we stayed in Wytheville, however going forward Wytheville and 7 Dogs will be our go to stop.”

“Peace in the Valley was a great show with excellent singers. Our group enjoyed the show very much! The food was another story. The broccoli slaw was full of tough stalk- like pieces with no flavor. The Shepherds pie was just ok but, disappointed that it was served as an entree at such a nice event.
Tea was very good.
The servers had a lot of people to serve and feel that extra help would have made serving easier. This is the first time that our dinner plates were left on the tables when the show started.
Hoping my comments will be addressed because we love to come to the Wohlfahrt Haus.”

“My husband and I ate dinner at this wonderful Asian fusion restaurant last night. The vibe is welcoming. The space feels like a hug. Love the copper cup water fountains! Staff were attentive and kind. Our food came out hot and fast and fresh. The menu offered a perfect blend of Asian fusion options. The prices were excellent compared to the value and freshness of the food. It was a wonderful experience and we’re so glad we tried it! It’s a newer restaurant on the scene of the beautiful views in Wytheville, Virginia. You won’t be disappointed! We ordered the scallion pancake, the crab Rangoon (yes with real crab), miso soup, chicken satay, and chicken steamed spring rolls that were amazing. The chicken & broccoli was the perfect portion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Food was good and service was excellent! The guys were really sweet and respectful! And I have to say , with the stupid division in the world today, the guys made us feel VERY comfortable. Being black and stopping in small towns in this area can be scary .Sad to say, but its just our reality. And another guy held the door for us when we left. We smashed our subs in the parking lot lol Thanks Guys!!! 🫶🏾”

It has quickly became my favorite place within Wytheville to grab lunch or dinner. Be sure to check out the dessert making POV by “Frozen In Time,”while you wait for your food to be freshly prepared. What’s even better? It is conveniently located within the diner! Burger? Fries? And chocolate lava cake to boot? Yes, please.”

“Sunday, May 3rd, 6:30ish? The nice woman (I should have gotten her name) working behind the counter did a wonderful job in every way possible. As it should be in the food service industry. From the moment a customer walks through the door, to the time they are done with their meal and exit the restaurant. We felt cared about and valued. She checked on us a couple different times while we were enjoying our meals, seeing if we needed anything and offering a genuine smile. I also could not help but notice how she kept herself busy while there were no other customers to serve by cleaning the lobby, and doing it happily. She is a perfect example of what an employee should be like. Thank you for the positive experience. Great hospitality and delicious food that is very much appreciated after driving several hours making our way home to Michigan from South Carolina and Nashville before that. Big trip. Thank you, again!”
