Amy is always our waitress--she is absolutely amazing, always friendly, and makes us feel as though we are her very dear friends. She brings us our coffee first thing without us even having to ask for it. The food is great, but Amy is what makes Gainesville Diner so very special.“

I'm disabled and never leave the house but yesterday was my husband's 71st birthday so I thought I would gather my strength and splurge for his name day.

I asked from the smallest bone in and she kept showing me large hams, after the 3rd no they slapped another on the counter, here $50 and change opens the foil but I'm so short I can't see anything but we have been buying your Hams for decades with no issues so I said ok, I also bought 3 large sides.

I get it home open it up for his dinner and this ham is burnt jerky. I do not have the energy to take that long scary ride back to return it but would gladly show you a photo. At this point I'm not sure we will ever return. Shame on the employee for even selling me that over cooked ham.“

“It was very loud, but the great food and service made it tolerable. Plenty of TVs to watch football which was nice. Cole was our waiter, and he did a great job! My wife and I had the ribeye. The steaks were delicious and cooked medium rare the way we like it! The avocado egg rolls were a tasty starter.“

“I made a last-minute reservation at IHOP in Gainesville, Virginia, for a late dinner around 8:30 PM for a group of 30 people. When I arrived, there were only two waiters working and just a few customers, but the manager, Ulises, was kind enough to step in and help one of the waiters, Khrist, serve our group. The service was excellent, and it didn’t take long to place our orders or receive our food. Everything was great, and since 28 out of 30 in our group were seniors, the manager kindly gave us a 10% discount. My T-bone steak was cooked perfectly, and the rest of the group enjoyed a variety of dishes. We finished our meal within an hour. Overall, it’s a great place to eat with fast service and friendly staff.“

“Parking: Great place for amazing appetizers and a fun place to play pool. Has a good variety of music, but unfortunately, you have to pay for it. Also a great variety of activities except pool, they have darts, ping-pong and flip cup. Great variety of drinks as well.“
