“Love this place! The staff is so welcoming and top notch, the atmosphere is cozy, beer is great, and there’s always something fun going on like trivia, food trucks, quesadilla place next door that will deliver your food there, live blue grass, the farmers market in the parking lot. Shout out to staff Jose and Jack! They are the best!“

“Had a private event here and it was outstanding! Great communication from the staff and we were able to rent the whole venue out. They had a wide selection of ciders and wines that appealed to our whole group and the staff were awesome! The decor and vibe made it look beautiful and classy, yet cozy. Thank y'all!“

“Nice brewery! Had two beers while here; a Czech style and Italian style Pilsner. Both were enjoyable for their style with the Czech style being the better of the two. The one downsize is the Czech style came out a smidge warm; first time here so I’ll give them a pass since the Italian style was the proper temp. Also ordered a double smash burger and fries. Burger was definitely charred but that didn’t take away my enjoyment of it, and the fries were great with a quality seasoning. Nice mojo and friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back for hopefully a colder Czech style Pilsner.“
“Arrr, I’ve sailed to Väsen Brewery a fair few times, I have! I be likin' to give me review after a couple o' visits—seems only fair, eh? So far, I’ve no gripes to speak of, but even if I did, what good’d it do? Every brew I’ve tasted be top-notch! I especially love takin' me dog there, too—'tis a fine escape when the weather be foul and I’m feelin' cooped up. Me last visit was with me ol' dad, and he had naught but praise fer Väsen as well. Arrr!“
“Stumbled upon Way Gone Brewery, what a fun place to taste some local beers, and also play a few games, while you chat and enjoy time together. Would make a great pit stop while in the area. We tried 5 of the many beers, through 4oz glasses at $3.00 each. Makes for a great day date or night date.“
“Ninja Kombucha has some of the best quality kombucha's I've had to date - They're not too harsh yet extremely effective!! I've had the pleasure of trying 2 other products of theirs as well, the Fleur Thieves Herbal Elixir and their new Apple Cider Vinegar!! The Herbal Elixir was very potent and I loved that they recommend to add extra honey to the bottle as you use it to increase the sweetness. It helped me beat the winter flu in no time with no lingering coughing or sniffles - I truly believe this product was the reason for that - thank you Ninja!!!
Their new Apple Cider Vinegar is a DREAM!!! I went to their stand at RVA Big Market a few weeks ago and happened to notice this new product on the table! I spoke with Brett about how upset I was that the staple BRAGG brand was recently sold so finding this local alternative that is ethically sourced and produced was GOLD!! I notice that the flavor is crip and fresher compared to other ACV's I've had as well. I've thoroughly enjoyed the versatility of their products especially the ACV - I can't wait to finish my jar to come back for more!!“
“Highly recommend Richbrau if you’re looking to host a private or semi-private event, or if you’re just in the neighborhood and want to drop by for a beer and some pizza in a cool space!
We recently hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Richbrau and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were SO friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and made sure we were well taken care of all night. We rented out the whole brewery - highly recommend, it was affordable and so fun to have the whole place to ourselves. The vibe inside is fantastic, and we were lucky with great weather to be able to open the big front doors so it was a lovely indoor/outdoor situation. Kiddos loved the board and table games and watching the trains roll by from out front. The beer was great as usual and the food was delicious - we love the pizza here!!! Enjoyed the apps, too. Super easy process working with them to book and plan the event. Thank you Richbrau!“

“Great location, beer garden is great. Beer is quality and continues to improve. Love their IPA series. (That was before) I now work in the neighborhood and Ardent is my go to spot. The X is a quality and consistent member of my IPA beer diet and I enjoy trying their rotating seasonals across the board. The adjacency to Eazzy Burger and ZZQ are solid adds to the site and it is absolutely the best beer garden in Richmond. Also the staff is amazing.“

“Been a regular of Bryant’s for about a year. Every experience I have had has been chill and I felt very comfortable with the bartenders and vibe very quickly. They specialize in brut dry cider with a great selection of different flavors. They have options for people who prefer a sweeter cider. There is ways to spruce it up. Yummy cider daiquiris in the summer. I loved Bryant’s so much since my move to Richmond I just recently was hired on as a bartender. This place made me wanna stay. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves cider and a good atmosphere with a cool aesthetic 🖤“
“If you are into beer this is the answer. Seriously though, they make incredible beers, BUT they also have unbelievable guest taps. I mean the best of the best. Food is solid, but come for the beer. If you can’t find something on tap you love here you just aren’t trying very hard.“

“Great view of the railroad tracks, could easily hang out in this spot all day! Great selection of experimental beers and it's nice to have something that doesn't taste like every other NEIPA or Stout on the market. Kind of small on the inside if it gets busy, but there's more than enough space outside, whether in the front or back“
“We hosted a welcome event for our wedding here! Cori from special events was so helpful with the whole process, reserving the space and answering our questions along the way! The event itself was fantastic. Ardent printed special menus with our names on it for the event and decorated the space with flowers and lights. We had a huge beer selection and the bartenders were so awesome. Highly recommend for special events!(As other comments note, at the time of our event Ardent was not serving gluten free options, but we were able to secure a banquet license and provide cider and hard seltzer for our gluten-free guests)“

“One of my favorite spots in Scott’s Addition! Great beer selection (looooove having more than one sour option on draft) and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. Love catching a game on the rooftop or a movie night downstairs on the projector. Staff go above and beyond and always have great recommendations.“

“Terrific staff and beer as always. New set up is terrible. Nobody wants to have a full service brewery. Nobody wants to have to reserve a table. Please go back to original set up. let us sit where we want. order a beer when we want. If we want full service we will go to the restaurant side. This may work at the other locations, but Richmond isn't Charlottesville. This was our goto brewery, today's has us thinking differently now“
“This place slaps. Excellent lagers, fun seasonal releases, vibes for days. Anthony who runs bingo, will put a smile on any face. As a beer tourist and out-of-towner, I would send anyone here for a good time and great pint.“
“This place is good for family dinners. The booth is large enough for all 5 of us. The menu is varied. The waitstaff is adequate, although he forgot to bring the soup course before the main course. The numerous TV screens occasioned some raucousness among the guests.“

“I admit that I slept on this place when it first opened. I was expecting a lower price point and more "bar food" and instead it's authentic/elevated Japanese and worth every dollar. The menu changes all the time so you can always try something new.“

“I have been coming to Intermission for the past 3 1/2 years, and it is one of my favorite places to come to relax or get some work done!!
The staff are amazing and make hanging out here fun! The beer is outstanding and the food is delicious!
