“Ninja is an incredibly unique and incredibly great tasting kombucha. I’ve lived many places in Virginia, and this is the best one I’ve had. I even prefer it over Health Ade, Forage, Rowdy Mermaid and Dr. Brew (I’ve tried a bunch). The owner pays particular attention to the formulation, making it so much better than those others I’ve tried. With many unique flavors in its line, I highly recommend!“
“I love what they have done to this place. Cozy, bright, warm colors. It has a brewery smell when you walk in the door. Smells like heaven. The cider is delightful. There is a cider club. I highly recommend joining it. I have been a cider club member for over ten years. Bring a friend, have a cider, a snack and prepare to gab.“

“Waygone is my favorite brewery in the west end. I’m always greeted by name with a smile when I walk in and feel welcomed. This is also a go-to for my husband and I if we are getting together with friends who have kids. They have lots of toys and a side room area for playing. My favorite drinks are Bluey and the rosé wine. I also love playing darts. My dad (who can be picky about beer) lives down the road and now comes in here weekly too to pick up to-go cans. 10/10 spot!“
“Found this gem while looking for a brewery that was open early on a Sunday, and had food. Mostly indoor seating, but it's a lovely space looking into the brewery. Staff was excellent in explaining the brewery history, the beers and the food. We ordered all the apps and enjoyed them all. Then we got a little creative and ordered the chicken strips to tear up and put on their mushroom pizza, as they don't offer additional proteins or toppings. Both were excellent. Only downfall was parking, but we did see something down the alley that may have been for the brewery.“

The staff is so welcoming and top notch, the atmosphere is cozy, beer is great, and there’s always something fun going on like trivia, food trucks, quesadilla place next door that will deliver your food there, live blue grass, the farmers market in the parking lot. “We had such a great time at trivia night at Väsen. The questions were actually fun and well thought out, probably some of the best trivia we’ve played in terms of variety and challenge. This spot is also my husband’s favorite for non-alcoholic options, which means a lot since he doesn’t drink. It’s one of the few places where he still feels totally included in the vibe while we’re out having fun. Great beer and great energy.“

“Been a regular of Bryant’s for about a year. Every experience I have had has been chill and I felt very comfortable with the bartenders and vibe very quickly. They specialize in brut dry cider with a great selection of different flavors. They have options for people who prefer a sweeter cider. There is ways to spruce it up. Yummy cider daiquiris in the summer. I loved Bryant’s so much since my move to Richmond I just recently was hired on as a bartender. This place made me wanna stay. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves cider and a good atmosphere with a cool aesthetic 🖤“

“One of my favorite spots in Scott’s Addition! Great beer selection (looooove having more than one sour option on draft) and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. Love catching a game on the rooftop or a movie night downstairs on the projector. Staff go above and beyond and always have great recommendations.“

“If you are into beer this is the answer. Seriously though, they make incredible beers, BUT they also have unbelievable guest taps. I mean the best of the best. Food is solid, but come for the beer. If you can’t find something on tap you love here you just aren’t trying very hard.“

Great selection of experimental beers and it's nice to have something that doesn't taste like every other NEIPA or Stout on the market. Kind of small on the inside if it gets busy, but there's more than enough space outside, whether in the front or back“
“Came here for the Spice and Pints event. It was a pretty good deal. $10 for a beer and three small tasters from three different food trucks (one was a wing, one Thai, and I think one was Laotian). I ate the tasters too fast to take a picture ;-). I also tried the nonalcoholic IPA, and you wouldn't know it had no alcohol by the taste!“

“Terrific staff and beer as always. New set up is terrible. Nobody wants to have a full service brewery. Nobody wants to have to reserve a table. Please go back to original set up. let us sit where we want. order a beer when we want. If we want full service we will go to the restaurant side. This may work at the other locations, but Richmond isn't Charlottesville. This was our goto brewery, today's has us thinking differently now“
“This place slaps. Excellent lagers, fun seasonal releases, vibes for days. Anthony who runs bingo, will put a smile on any face. As a beer tourist and out-of-towner, I would send anyone here for a good time and great pint.“

“This place used to be one of our favs! Unfortunately the best menu items have slowly been disappearing 💔. They used to have the BEST tots in town, but those are gone. We loved the karaage chicken but haven’t seen it the last few times we’ve gone. Their amazing chicken sandwich used to be a fried cutlet, but that has been replaced with some sort of minced chicken patty. Even their fries were replaced by inferior crinkle fries. Hope to see our favs return soon!“
“I have read the reviews prior to coming in and dining. However, I like to form my own opinions and the service was amazing. Along with the great menu choices there's something for everyone. The drinks could have been a little less water down however I feel as though the bartender got into a group, and started to make a really delicious drink. The Sunday prime rib special is the best, but we tried several appetizers and all were really good. Only one that was a little questionable was the avocado as they were a little over cooked.“

“We had a blast at Intermission after a morning of kids sports. A perfect stop to enjoy a pizza and a beer while kids enjoy reasonably priced arcade games. Very casual and comfortable vibes.
We loved the gluten reduced beer, and the pizza was excellent. We’ll be back for sure!“
