“What an incredible German restaurant ! I was visiting Richmond VA and had the opportunity to visit for dinner. The food and service were incredible even though it was very busy on a Thursday evening. The food was exceptional and so flavorful! Definitely recommend! - but you should call and make a reservation given the restaurant is very popular and busy.“
“Fantastic food! This was the first time we have been able to enjoy Metzger's for dinner (we have been there for brunch several times). First, it was nice to see the back room. Our meals were spectacular. My venison was extemely tender and my husband's pork chop had a flavorful sauce that made for a great dish. We'll definitely be back.“

Tables had been set up prior to our arrival, a server was ready to help us.Service was excellent, the food came out almost simultaneously, and in a timely manner.I think that everyone was pleased with their food; I certainly was, and I saw either clean plates or take home boxes for the rest of the group.We will definitely be back.“
