“I spent New Years Eve here and while the space was amazing, the planning and execution of the event was not. We paid extra for a VIP experience - the food was FANTASTIC! Probably the best thing of the night! The evening included a 90s dress contest, a 90s band and midnight champagne toast....Well, the contest winner was not even announced nor was added to their Instagram - there were 4 pictures posted out of everyone dressed up. Up in the VIP room, there was NO count down or anything - it was 2024 and we didn't even realize it - so much for our special midnight toast in the VIP Lounge! While I didn't know one song the band played, I was assured they were 90s songs. the advertisements should have said ONE STYLE of 90s music.. this event can be great....Just needs some work to it ... especially when people are paying extra!“
“Will, Julia, and Bailey helped me out so much with my high school reunion! They were so attentive and flexible and overall good people. I will absolutely be holding more events here. “Blue Bee is back and better than ever in their new spot on Bethlehelm Rd by Libbie Mill.I am so happy for the new owners Mackenzie and Taylor and love what they have done with the space! You must check them out!The tasting room is so cozy with plenty of bar seating and comfy couches.The cider menu has all the old favorites with a new spin of a "song pairing" and I am anxiously awaiting new flavors once harvest happens and Taylor starts experimenting with new vintages!They have a snack menu too- chips, hmnad, charturie boards, and plan on rotating food trucks.They have nice outdoor seating on a spacious deck and a parking lot too ( approximately 30 spots beteeen their private lot and adjacent busineses)My rating rationale+1 Service+1 Food~Taste/flavor/quality+1 Presentation+1 Atmosphere/vibe+1 Value“
“Four years had elapsed in a flash before my most recent visit last weekend for the Scott's Addition Collaboration Crawl. My friend mentioned wanting to check them out, and I was happy to go along for the ride. I arrived first and perused their list. I tried two different samples, one of their lavender meads and their Bramble Bee blackberry mead. Both were well done, but Bramble Bee won out for me. Mead is so high in alcohol that 4 ounces is plenty. Expect to pay around $10, which I think is reasonable. Service was perfunctory and there were ample seats. I also loved the daffodils; my favorite flower! Nice touch. I'm sure I'll be back at some point in the next four years.“
“Stopped here overnight with Harvest Hosts. Lucky to pop in just as they were closing. Beautifully set off the road and the bar staff were kind to allow some tasting beyond the stated times. We ended up with a sweet bottle of Real Santa Red. We also liked the Hanover Red blend. Beautiful place to sit and relax and share a bottle, plus some availble snack plates.“
