“We had the best time. We love this place. If you are ever in Williamsburg, The Silverhand Meadery is a must stop. Learning about the history of how the honey frome the bees along with fruit and the different spices used to make the meads and honey is amazing. Moondance, ALL Blues, Heat Waves are some of the meads available for tasting. This place is also a great place for you to get to get together with the girls and have a blast.“

Windchaser Meadery Winery • $$
6931 Richmond Rd, Williamsburg

“The mead is extremely delicious! Their flavors taste just like they are descibed unlike other places where you only get hints of those flavors. Our first visit, we did a flights tasting, and through that tasting, i felt like i became good friends with Joe, the mead maker. It was such an amazing experience that we drove for 2 hrs just to visit them again. Thats when we met Melanie. After our second visit Melanie and joe have made us feel like we are part of their mead family, not just a customer. I truly feel like they know us and we know them. This company is really something special and i truly enjoy helping to support that.“

“My husband and I really enjoyed Gabriel Archer Tavern. It's right next to Williamsburg winery however they are completely separate businesses. Their flights are all Williamsburg winery wines however sometimes the flight selections differ from the wineries. The food was amazing. We ordered from the rotating daily menu. The service was fantastic and our view of the winery made it worthwhile.“

Williamsburg Winery, Ltd. Winery • $$
5800 Wessex Hundred, Williamsburg

“We love this place! We have visited multiple times and probably sampled all of their wine. The scenery is beautiful and the area can hold multiple events (wedding, party, get to gather, winery events, etc.) The tours are top notch as well. They take you through out the buildings, winery process, and history. The tastings are affordable and delicious with a bit of history as well. I love coming here and recommend this place for any wine lover. The Adagio is by far my favorite!“
