“The rock star staff at Grey Goose catered our wedding reception at Hampton Roads Event Center in May 2024. From our first phone call with Dana to the many follow up emails and menu adjustments the process was easy and Dana’s crew delivered nothing less than excellence on our big day. We were so pleased by the diverse catering options to create our custom menu of heavy horsd’oeuvlres, cheese board, meatballs, salads, and a bite sized dessert table was presented elegantly and most delicious! We did not want traditional catering with mass produced stainless steel serving troughs of food, but leaned more towards supporting local for a botique quality alongside an elegant presentation and Grey Goose delivered 100%. Much gratitude to Chef Dana, Chef Phillip, catering manager, bartender, and additional staff for going above and beyond anticipating our needs and quickly responding to every request and making our big day seemless and carefree. “My husband and I are not gluten free but wanted to try out a locally owned restaurant. 100% NOT disappointed. They bring a whole new meaning to gluten free. The meals are still exceptionally flavored and hearty. We left feeling well fed and well loved. The staff are friendly and inviting and the owners took time out of their day to stop at our table for a welcoming chat. We absolutely recommend Grunows whether you are gluten free or just looking for a delicious meal.“

“My husband and I join another couple from time to time to try new restaurants, as we all consider ourselves "foodies". They had gone to Circa recently, and were excited for us to try it as well. I had heard of Circa because I'd been given a gift card a couple years ago, but I lost it, and only had the envelope and gift card receipt. From the time we walked in to the time we walked out, my husband and I received nothing but the best service. Our waiter, Regina, was exceptional - professional, personable and attentive. She sold my husband on Friday night's entire special. I had the mushroom and leek soup, brisket wontons and bison meatloaf. I'm not ashamed to say I did not come up for air. I ate it all! The pairings, textures, layers of flavor and portion sizes were everything. And to top it all off, I told Regina about my gift card mishap, and the manager honored the card! I was blown away by this dining experience; it was awesome.“

“I never shy away from a place because of its location. I found that the hole in the wall places are among the absolute best. Nawab Indian Cuisine is a definite hit.
I highly recommend eating in so you may have an opportunity to experience the service but also cap your meal with the milk chai cardomon. Tea.
First, the staff is very attentive and friendly without feeling overbearing. They watch very closely from a distance.
My meal lamb Rogan was among some of the best I’ve had in the states.
With a Punjabi hand in the kitchen, don’t be afraid to take your Spice level up a level or two. Especially if you’re going with the goat. The full richness of flavor you’ll receive might be worth it.
The basmati used is excellently prepared I’m excited to try a biryani the next time I’m in town.
The rice and the bread were as good or better than fancier restaurants in fancier areas of town.
With that said, don’t let the area or the locals throw you off the parking lot has adequate security for the mall and once inside, you’ll find a clean modern inviting experience that is good for business dinners, family, or even a romantic experience. With the attention from the staff, whatever your goal you’ll achieve it.“
