“I decided to stop by New Year's eve to get something in my stomach before drinking. They were full but I was offered a seat outside and took it. The food is all great here. Tonight they had a man carding at the front door. A customer came up already with a bad attitude. He didn't want to be carded and was insulted for he had been coming here for years. The gentleman minding the door whose name was Chris handled it very calmly with no attitude even though the guy calmed he didn't like Chris's attitude. the customer was clear trying to start something but only received politeness. I saw that same guy trying to start it up with another gentleman watching the door. Great job to Chris. He was also nice enough to stop and chat with me and do his job. I was the only one sitting outside it was nice to be acknowledged. Thanks“

“Our server Ava was awesome she was attentive sweet have great advice on what to order. The food was beautifully presented ( don’t judge by our pics we had driven 10 hours and were very hungry lol. We had the clams and Barrata appetizers they were fabulous and the sauce from the clams was fantastic ( we took it home). The bread that came with it was soft and yummy.
For dinner we had Mafaldine and the Bucatini. I had the bucatini and the sauce was fresh and a beautiful shade of red, not overcooked with chunks of tomato. The bucatini was cooked to
Perfection and it was hot but not too hot.
The Mafaldine my husband got had big shrimp and it was very savory - had a very pancetta taste. Very good.

“Huge fan of this spot! I'm obsessed with their fresh noodles - they're always perfectly cooked, never overdone. I keep coming back for the black garlic paitan and spicy miso ramen, especially when paired with their fall-off-the-bone slow-roasted brisket and no bone in sight. It's the perfect combo! Service is always on point too. Already planning my next visit.“

“We tried Wok n Roll last week during spring break. I was SO impressed! The staff were all so nice, greeting us, talking about the menu and offering us all the sauces! I got the chicken fried rice which came with an egg roll and it was delicious!! My daughter got the generals and just wow! She said it was the BEST she had ever eaten!! I tried it and agree!! Let’s talk about the portions.. we ate so much and still took home two boxes that looked like whole entrées. I love the atmosphere. It was quiet around 3 PM in the afternoon. We just loved it so much. I don’t know how we had never tried it before, but we definitely will be back and we have told so many people they simply must go eat at Wok n Roll!!! Go!!“

“Thank you for such a great lunch! The service was efficient, helpful, and kind. Our food was better than we expected and the portions are generous. The fried rice is perfect, the Szechuan beef was just the right level of heat, and the orange chicken was exactly what my son was craving. The quality and flavor was so good and it was just under $20 for lunch for 2 people.
The restaurant looks so unassuming from outside, but that’s where they hide the magic. Their lunch specials can’t be beat.“
“During the concert at Dr Pepper Park, it just happened that the weather turned to shit. Everyone crammed into this bar and the bartenders were absolutely amazing, accommodating and welcoming, despite the slot of people trying to get their beverages. She needs that for the next, just to move it out of the wall. In all of this, the bartender/brewist Donovan stepped up, managed the crowd and got everyone served in a timely manner. When we stopped in earlier, she was very accommodating and knowledgeable, and she continued this, despite the massive crowd.“

“So yummy! It's hard to find a real pho place and this is it! The broth was absolutely delicious. I like to get the rare steak pho and add a side of veggies that go in the veggie pho and they had a really good veggie mix with cabbage, carrots, baby corn, etc. Try it out when you're in Roanoke!! Best pho I have had in awhile and I'm from Denver.“

“I went there specifically for my favorite dishes: bone in Chinese Spareribs and House Lomein. I have been looking for a Chinese to go spot with the actual traditional ribs with the sauce and not the boneless rib tips. I finally found it there, because it seemed unavailable from anywhere in Radford, Christiansburg or Blacksburg , where I'm local to. I just happened to be in Roanoke today cause I'm picking up family from the airport, and was craving it. It was about a 30 min wait for me after I ordered because it was already crowded and had a long line of people waiting for their orders. But once I received it, I felt I got my money worth and more because it was what I remembered in taste, texture, saucey. Not too salty or too sweet and good portions for the portions I ordered. Thanks. I will definitely order again.“

“Our first time having lunch at Wasabi's and were very impressed. We love sushi and are always looking for good restaurants so we'll be coming back again. The quality of the fish was extremely high. The salmon and tuna melted in our mouths and the portions were generous. All the staff were professional, friendly and satisfyingly answered all questions. See you again soon.“

“I have never had a bad experience or meal at this location and I’ve been eating here and at the owners previous location for almost 20 years. I’ve tried multiple things on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. My top favorites include the Pha Ram Long Song (best meal) and Threes Company! The Cashew Chicken, Massaman Curry, Teriyaki Chicken, and Panang Curry are all excellent as well! By far, the best Thai food in town! Check any of these meals out and I sincerely doubt you’ll be disappointed.“

“Took my daughter here for her graduation/ college dinner. The place was surprisingly busy and the waitress was very friendly. The food was great. The only thing is my son wanted sweet and sour chicken ( the one thing they didn't offer) but he ended up having the teriyaki and he ate most of it. Will remember this place for next time :)“

“Absolutely, hands down one of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining in. From the very friendly and helpful staff to one of the cleanest restaurants I have seen. While in town on October 24th and the 25th, had dinner on Friday and was so impressed, I had to go back Saturday before leaving. Needless to say, when I return to Roanoke I will be staying in the same location to only have this restaurant 3 blocks away.“

“My husband and I ate here for the first time today. As soon as we walked in, it felt very comfortable and relaxed. We ordered the nachos with taco meat for our appetizer. It was very good! Everything was fresh, especially the jalapeños. You could tell they were not pre-sliced food service jalapeños. My husband ordered the smash burger a n d I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It was the first time ever he didnt have to tell the server to tell the cook to burn it just so he could get his burger well done. It was cooked perfectly. Let me say first, I am from the deep south (much further south than Virginia) and I am picky about my pulled pork. This pulled pork was perfect. The BBQ sauce has a nice, smokey hickory taste and the pork was not over cooked. The slaw had a very nice flavor that complimented the pork.It is the best pulled pork I have ever gotten that didnt come out of my own kitchen! To say we were very pleased would be an understatement. Thank you! We will be back!“

“I LOVE the atmosphere at Mangos, great food and drinks and the live music, especially when The Frequency is playing! 🎶🎶 And… I can’t believe I’m saying this part out loud, BUT I AM older now… (but still running against the wind) 🤦♀️ 😉 The music is often much too loud. You can’t hear the person beside you talk. The music is great, but I still like to be able to have a conversation, too. Overall, I LOVE MANGO’S and always look forward to going there for a night out!“
