When I went to pay for the order, the cashier acknowledged the complaint and called for a manager. The manager immediately apologized and corrected the problem. Thank you for getting it right! “I didn’t expect much when I originally planned to head to Ford’s, but I happened to catch a glimpse of Foster’s in South Riding—and I’m glad I did. The draft lineup really caught my attention. While there aren’t a ton of options on tap, the mix they offer covers a nice range of flavors and includes some awesome local craft brews. And don’t miss their can selection—lots of gems in there too!
What really impressed me was the meal—especially the Reuben, which was packed with flavor. I also had a great chat with the General Manager, Kim, who clearly knows her stuff when it comes to craft beer. Such a cool experience all around. I have a feeling this is going to become one of my go-to spots!“

“Great food, service, and unbeatable cocktails! Our server was attentive and courteous from start to finish. The steak was tender, delicious, and cooked perfectly—just what you want from a steakhouse. Cocktails were fantastic, especially the Old Fashioneds—two for under $20 with no gimmicks. Can’t beat the value or the flavor. We'll definitely be back!“

“Despite financial struggles, they're still selling food at the standard they've seemed to always have. Abundant staff was friendly and attentive. They could put some focus on clearing tables and keeping things cleaned and touched up. There were 4 tables not cleared for nearly the entire time I was there with staff working on things like cleaning steak knives, some food on the floor, torn drywall/paint at the entrance. Overall a good experience.“

“Husband and I eat breakfast on Sundays at Gainesville Diner. Such a friendly atmosphere, our food is always delicious and hot. Amy is always our waitress--she is absolutely amazing, always friendly, and makes us feel as though we are her very dear friends. She brings us our coffee first thing without us even having to ask for it. The food is great, but Amy is what makes Gainesville Diner so very special.“

“Easily the best place to be in Gainesville for all the craft beer drinkers, music lovers and BBQ eaters!!! I frequent this place on a weekly basis, not just because it's close to the house, but because it's a FUN atmosphere. There are dart boards, arcade games, board games, live music, comedy shows and good food. You can host private parties here too!!! CHECK IT OUT!!!! 60+ taps of beer and TOP SHELF bourbon/whiskey!“

“I have been dining at this place for about 30 years and have never been disappointed. The food is always excellent as is the service. The restaurant is always cleaner than a hospital. I wish I could give it 20 stars. I know what really fine food is. I was a trained chef in the Army, and I cooked for high ranking officers and dignified officials in Washington DC.“

“Don't get out here often but when I do I like the Dagwood. Today was great Ms Katherine helped me and was such a delight. She kept checking on me and seeing if I needed something. It's great to know in the world we live in, that there is still beautiful people with such kindness around. Thank you so much Katherine for being so nice and making lunch a great experience.“

“If you like live band,loud music and people singing along. This is the venue for you. They take requests to come up to the stage and sing your heart out. But be sure to please the audience, as they are not easy. Wide selection of food and alcohol to pair with. Keep the tab open, you'll be staying late.“
