“What a wonderful space. Great wine, great service, wonderful food. Best steak and potato’s I’ve had in a long time. The charcuterie board, breads, dips and salad were great as well. Lamb ragu, mussels, all were great. But the stand out was the duck. I’m not a fan of duck, but theirs is divine. I would go back there only for the duck even. Great meal.“

“Professionally: I found this establishment on a chance. But once I entered it was a complete vibe. Owners are genuinely nice & treats everyone with dignity & respect. Place makes you feel like you're welcomed home. Servers at this point remember my drink order and you can't forget about mama. I started off saying professionally, but this place really is like a family. Not to mention the food is banging. You gotta try mama Lo's seafood salad. I'm from bmore and its my starter!!

Personally: I don't honestly know or think they know what the owners have done for me or given me. I've always loved music, but have never been confident in myself. But these ladies have taken a chance on me time & time again. Them believing in me had made me believe myself. The amount of love they show, the amount of care they give, & the amount of believe they have has made me a better singer & person all around. So I truly truly thank them. I'm honored to be apart of your extended family.“

“We had a birthday party at Memi’s and it was great. The manager was easy to work with and very responsive during planning. The food and drinks were delicious. We used the downstairs lounge, so our group could be in its own, and it suited our needs perfectly. Highly recommend.“

“We just returned from Boston where we had a good experience at an Italian restaurant in the North End. We thought we would make a comparison: well, this place was head and shoulders above that famous area. In fact, I would say this is by far the best Italian restaurant in Richmond; better than Edo Squid; better than Dinamo; better than the famous, now closed, Mama Zu’s. Great wine selection , perfectly cooked food, delicious desert and all at a reasonable price. I have eaten at many Italian restaurants on the east coast and in Italy. If you skip this place, you are missing out on one of the best anywhere.“

“Amuse is one of our favorite restaurants in Richmond, Virginia for many reasons: First and foremost is the excellent food prepared by Chef Will Burgess and his staff. My wife and I dined there 2 nights ago; we had an interesting, delicious asparagus appetizer, her salmon entree was perfect, and I had the most delicious vegan entree I have ever had; it was a harissa mushroom dish with an incredibly amazing light sauce. The service and ambiance are also always wonderful.“

“I’m not really into Phillys but OMG these are amazing! I get the Peruvian Chicken and it’s absolutely amazing every time. So much flavor, saucy, cheesy goodness. The bread is fresh. The French fries are just like McDonalds. And don’t sleep on the wedge salad - best in Richmond. We love this place! It’s expensive but it’s also a very filling meal and the quality is there.“

“My husband asked the bartender/head mixologist, Steve Yang, for a gin based dealer's choice and he made the most wonderful drink I've had in a long time. He called it "Some kind of wonderful" it had dill, yogurt, and some other stuff and tasted like some hard to find European candy. Awesome!“

“Where do I even begin? This place is incredible! Hands down, it has some of the best burgers and oysters in Richmond. Every bite was amazing, and the quality really stands out.

“We had our 20 year alumni event for about 24 people with dinner, drinks, and dessert. Melissa was super responsive to questions and alterations for the event and the food and service were awesome when we attended. The 2 servers did an excellent job.“

“We ate at the Mechanicsville location on our way home from out of state. I always order a chimichanga every time I have Mexican, which is often. I ordered one today with ground beef. When it was brought out to me it looked like a taquito ( a 1/3 of the size). A manager came over and was not happy when I told him that. He said that was their normal size chimi’s. To top it all off when I took my first bite it was lovely.“
