All of Finn Thai's curry has fish sauce in it and can not be made vegan=no 5 star rating.)(Now that I think of it.... when I say I have had better Thai food, maybe it's because I'm comparing it to curry dishes I have had elsewhere, when here I was unable to have curry. A lot of dishes don't necessarily have tofu listed as a protein option, but in my experience, they are happy to use tofu instead of meat.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free and vegan options! All of the curry has fish sauce in it, which sucks as that is my favorite Thai dish. I don't remember everything being labeled well on the menu, but definitely ask! The servers are always knowledgeable, in my experience, and can help guide you to something appropriate for you!I have not been "glutened" here!Parking: The parking lot directly in front of the restaurant is small, but every time I visited, there were plenty of spots. The restaurant is in the back of a large shopping/business area, so there is plenty of free parking around, but if it is busy, you may have to park a bit farther.Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps up to the restaurant. “I'm writing this review after trying Big Buns Vienna branch, and the newest location in Fairfax (which still doesn't have a yelp entry at the time of writing this review). I tried the Classic burger, the Hot and Hefe, and the Shirlington Hot Nashville chicken sandwich.This is not your typical run-of-the-mill fast food burger joint. For the beef burgers, this place makes them exclusively from angus beef which makes for a totally elevated burger experience. I ordered mine medium and they were SO juicy and flavorful.The Nashville hot chicken sandwich (Shirlington) caught me by complete surprise. I didn't expect a burger place to sell such flavorful and truly hot chicken sandwich. It's not for the faint hearted, though. Order your hot sauce on the side and add it to taste if you cant take the heat. But don't sleep on this one. It tastes way better than at specialized hot chicken restaurants.I took away one star because the lower part of the bun gets very soggy and starts to disintegrate by the time you reach home. I would choose dine-in over takeaway for that reason. I hope they work on sourcing better quality buns or figure out a way for their buns not to get too soggy and ruin the nearly-perfect burger experience. Also, their fries portions are small compared to the price.Nevertheless, I'm definitely coming back for more flavorful burgers and hot chicken!“
“Such a cute little modern spot. All the food was great and fresh. Fries, bao, popcorn chicken, and pork belly were all great. Good beer selection. Loved all the different beer glasses. Went in on a Sunday evening so it wasn’t very busy at all. Waiter checked on us consistently (sometimes that’s actually an issue when it’s slow, but not here!) will def be back to try the rest of the menu.Dietary restrictions: Popcorn chicken is gluten free. There are other options noted as gluten free too. Nice to have some options that aren’t boring or bad substitutes. Hard to find any sort of breaded chicken that’s gluten free. Bravo!“
“First time dining here since that awful asian restaurant use to be there. Thank goodness they closed. This new restaurant is great! Great food, service and atmosphere! The manager/owner came to talk with us and was very friendly and informative of where they purchase their food/vegetables from, all fresh and not previously frozen. Wine selection some from Lebanon and other countries.“
“TERRIBLE picture of the huge and delicious jalapeno stuffed pretzel and beers. The food was good but we enjoyed the atmosphere and beer best. The pretzel could easily be shared by four people. We also enjoyed nachos and the Cuban, they were good too but our favorite was the beer!“
“10/10 better alternative to Buffalo Wild Wings or Wingstop. The wing flavors are fun and creative (get the sweet and Smokey bbq!!) also the old bay tots with hot honey are chefs kiss. So perfectly crispy and the sweet and savory flavor profile is unique/ to die for. Also liked the beer selection, it had a better selection of ciders and local beer than you'd see at BWW.“
“Best fried chicken place in town. I visited here during lunch hour. I tried French delight for an appetizer and their new bbq signature rice bowl. Was little spicy but with mayo and rice, it was great! Their atmosphere is nice and clean. It was busy during lunchtime, but the server who served us was friendly.“
“Came here to chill out before going to Bowlero and it was a lot cooler than I was expecting! They have trivia night every Wednesday but my friend and I weren't mentally prepared to be competitive that day. We got a 2 rounds of drinks and a snack from one of the 3 restaurants in the brew hall. They have a great deal where you can get a beer and a snack for $15! For the first round of drinks my friend and I got two cocktails, and we got beers for the second round. The cocktails were really well made and our bartender was nice enough to charge us the happy hour prices even though we got there only a minute before HH ended. I think it would be fun to go to trivia and actually play next time!“
“We stopped in for lunch and were not disappointed. My daughter had the standard burger and I had the bacon horseradish burger. Both cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. The fries were so-so and we also had a side of the brussel sprouts which were good but not worth it. The burgers are very good and forget the rest of the items, one of the better burgers in the DC area.“
