Unfortunately the restaurant has been closed since Hurricane Helene went through and caused a sewage backup. We have been told it is closed indefinitely. Hopefully just for the season.
We came for dinner around 8 pm on a Monday and waited quite a while for our food. We did get seated right away (because we sat outside, otherwise it was about a 20-25 minute wait). There were a lot of guests, potentially because there was banking conference happening at the resort.
The tavern itself seemed very well kept, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I loved the seating, as it wasn't traditional - it was actual outdoor furniture with the cushions. Very comfortable.
