“We were fortunate enough to get some excellent advice from Matthew Robertson (assistant dining manager) who recommended we sit in the corner table by the windows. He was right! The view was absolutely amazing, overlooking the twinkle lights glimmering on the snow. Dakota was our server and he was amazing! He remembered everyone's names, was personable, responsive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We had an amazing meal and will absolutely be back!“

“The wife and I eat there a few times a year while on our annual camp trip to Bath county. All the food we have had has been excellent and the service is always on point. No complaints here.“

“We visited this restaurant on our first evening at the resort. Initially, we were told at the front desk that there were no reservations available, but when we came in person, the hostess was able to accommodate us, which we really appreciated.
The food looked good, but overall felt quite heavy- we ended up drinking water all night afterward and still couldn’t quite feel refreshed.
Unfortunately, our server forgot the appetizer we ordered, so we never got to try the crab dip.
The cocktails were good, and the beer selection was solid, which we enjoyed.
We also really loved that kids are given s’mores kits. It’s complimentary, and you can request it from the hostess. My 6-year-old son was absolutely thrilled, and even our 18-month-old daughter got to enjoy the experience. We truly appreciated this - thank you for such a thoughtful touch.
The restaurant itself was quite noisy and very busy, so we ended up wanting to finish dinner a bit quicker and head outside where it was quieter.
Overall, I would rate this restaurant 4 stars. If we return to Omni Homestead, we would likely visit it again.“
“The food and service and decor of the restaurant was wonderful! There was a lot of spillover noise from the bar where a football game was playing. The one criticism I have for the restaurant is the smokiness coming from the open kitchen. You could see the smoke hanging in the air and all of our clothes will have to be laundered after eating there as they smelled when we left.“

“Decent food, drinks and service, in an iconic setting dating back to the Gilded Age. Really that is what you are getting and paying for. A beautiful escape in the middle of rural countryside, getting to on a wonderful drive. Yes, the food could be a better (it is by no means bad...any idea how hard is to provision a hotel in such a location with staff, a quality chef, duck, etc? That is a feat in itself). Service started perfect but then slowed down as the restaurant got busier after 730. That said we very much enjoyed our visit from the food Mecca of Charlottesville, coupled with the stiff Negroni (yasss...), a visit to the ethereal Warm Spring baths prior (silence, swallows, warm goodness...) and had a perfect Saturday escape. Will be back!
(One easy thing to fix, management: lose the tablecloths. Coarse, worn, stained, they clash with the beauty of the space and immediately downgrade everything.)“

“We ate dinner there last night and stayed in the Silo. All we can say is, "Wow!" The trout was out of this world, definitely highlight of our trip. Wish we ate there both nights of our getaway. Our dinner down the road was not nearly as amazing. Set the bar very high. We will just come back to the area to eat dinner here.“

“I want to thank the Omni Homestead and the great Team at Rubinos for a spectacular lunch and great service today by everyone there.
The new menu and folks there make this a destination restaurant for lunch.
When on the porch at Rubinos and the weather is beautiful and you are looking over the Cascades Course there can be no other place on earth as beautiful.“
