“Well worth the stop - tiny little place but delicious meads that are unique and well rounded. The owner Kevin was in while we were there and he just oozes with pride in his product which makes for a really great experience. Highly recommend making this stop, even if it’s just on your way through town.“

“Upon arrival we were greeted very friendly by Amanda and Whiticar, the owners. It was very kind and thoughtful to be provided warm blankets as we were cold but wanted to sit outdoors. They are both amazing people! Very welcoming hosts as we spoke to them for a long time. They gave us honest recommendations. We spent 3 hours enjoying the view. It was so refreshing and relaxing. The wine and charcuterie board were delicious! Phenomenal place, highly recommend 11/10. The price was well suitable. The quality of the product and view speaks for itself. I wish we would’ve had enough time to go again (I was out of town). Hopefully next time we make a trip back to VA.“

“What a stunning winery! Best views of any vineyard in Virginia. The wine is delicious (rose all day!) and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The owner and winemaker, Jeff, is often there to host and make all feel welcome. You can either hang out on the upper deck and mingle with fellow customers, or you can find a private spot in the field. Whatever you are looking for, Chester Gap delivers!“

“This was the perfect winery after our hike in Shenandoah national park. I don’t usually enjoy all of the wines from tastings I get at other wineries but every wine I tasted here was great!!! The views were also exceptional and Crystal, the wine pourer was THE BEST. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely be coming back!!“

“A few friends and I stopped by while we were in the area. The owner, Theo, immediately greeted us and asked if we were interested in a tasting. The wines were delicious and we were impressed by the exceptional service. We got to learn about the wines from the winemaker himself which was very cool. “After our hike in Shenandoah National Park, we stopped by Glen Manor for a glass of wine as it is very close to the trails. When having wine here you get to enjoy the same stunning views as hiking in the national park. The scenery is truly breathtaking. The service we encountered was exceptional. The staff members are true wine experts and treat you like royalty. The wine itself was fantastic. It's worth noting to bring your own snacks or lunch as they don't offer food on-site, but they do allow you to bring your own. With a spacious patio and outdoor area, you can sit back, unwind, and fully absorb the incredible mountain views. This will be a post-hike tradition for me from now on!“

“Based on our recent visits, Linden has corrected the issues that caused some of the bad reiews of the past. We are not club members and reserved a tasting in September 2023. My wife was not participating. The staff offered her a choice among several rooms in which to sit and asked if she preferred the windows open or closed, and then brought her a blanket and water to drink - they couldn't have been more accommodating. We were welcome to sit anywhere we liked after my tasting on each visit.The tasting staff were amazing, and were able to explain the winemaking process and vineyard management for each wine poured and were happy to answer questions. Owner Jim Law stopped at the bar a few times.And while I was finishing my tasting, two or three small groups appeared without the requisite reservations. Jim greeted them and said he could do a tasting for them at a separate bar. After my tasting, I joined them just to listen to what Jim had to say about his wines. I declined a pour saying "I just finished a tasting at the main bar." His reply was, "yes, but you didn't taste this one!" as he poured it for me. It was a sublime experience.As a result of the great first experience, I signed up for a special tour a couple weeks later on the day they were sorting the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the once-in-a-lifetime 2023 vintage. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable as she guided us through the vineyard and very busy production areas. Jim broke off his hard work a few times to give us samples of different wines in various stages and to add information. Meanwhile, the staff was keeping my wife comfortable in the winery.It is too bad these stars don't go to 11, because that would match our experiences at Linden.“

“The Little Washington wine flight was amazing, a very well-rounded experience with a palette for all. Location was a bit hidden, but once there the view was amazing… not to mention the actual estate interior which you can explore fully and sit wherever you want! Perfect relaxing place.“

“The property is beautiful and peaceful, so it was a real treat to enjoy a selection of their wines while lounging comfortably on the wraparound verandah/porch. Their white wines are especially good. The Indian food offered is also very very tasty and authentic. Visited on a Saturday and there was love music, which was a great touch. Narmada is good for a chill day of wine drinking (on the wraparound or on one of the chairs beneath one of the many trees), nibbling, and going then going for a walk to the pond.Visited as part of a Spirited Tours winery and vineyard tasting. Harvest time was just beginning but the owner took time to chat with our tour group. Great experience.“
