“My husband surprised me with reservations here for our 30th anniversary dinner. Anthony lead us to our seating outside overlooking the beautiful view of the water. We were greeted by Avery with a smile and two complimentary glasses of champagne. She provided excellent service which was very accommodating. The entrees were out of this world delicious. Our first time at Regions, and certainly not our last.“

“We had a good meal and good service unfortunately our night was ruined by an obnoxious customer near the bar. Very loud, yelling and using a lot of profanity. We ate quick and left so didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would’ve. I understand it happens but at some point management should step in and try to calm to situation down.“

“Our experience was 5 out of 5. This brand is always consistent and dependable. No surprises. Comfortable , clean rooms, nice amenities and easy check in. We had dinner in the restaurant and Izzy was our server. She was so attentive and pleasant it made our experience really enjoyable. We were the only diners and saw many people leaving the hotel at dinner time. No doubt for wonderful restaurants but I suggest they try what the hotel has to offer. Steaks were excellent, vegetables and potatoes cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Thoroughly enjoyed this property.“

I was especially impressed by the filet. I'm INCREDIBLY sensitive to red meat and usually eat a steak knowing my stomach will make me pay for it later unless it's specifically grass fed and grass finished or sometimes I can do grain finished. I went into the meal assuming I'd have to deal with my issues afterwards. at first bite I didn't care how much I had to pay with my body later, it was WORTH IT and then to my shock - I HAD NO ISSUES. the staff were friendly, and attentive. This happy and welcoming spot was our all-time favorite within ten minutes. The meat loaf, with mashed, gravy and peas) was a real crowd pleaser at just $5 on Thursdays. “Enjoyed a two-night stay in the spacious innkeeper's room, which was really a 200-year-old suite with period furniture. Charming! This place has so much history dating back to 1797. We loved the dishes at Larrick's Tavern. It's far from our home but we would come back.

Rooms: Many rooms have genuine antiques, others have period furniture, but all rooms are spacious and comfortable.“

“The bartender from Saugertis is a customer service pro! She also made good drinks! Our server at breakfast the next morning was also excellent! We only ate breakfast at the restaurant and we enjoyed it. I only have 2 suggestions regarding the atmosphere. There are some lights on the walls that have flickering bulbs. One was by our table. We found them disturbing. The lamps on top of the bar should not be there. They interfere with conversations because you constantly have to maneuver your head around them to talk to others. They are both easy fixes. We would not hesitate to come back! Thanks again for the great service!“

“We had the best server. His name was Skyler. Try to sit in his section if possible. My husband drinks a lot of tea/water and he never once had to ask for a refill. Skyler was always on top of it and had a new glass coming. We ordered steaks rare and they actually were cooked rare! Most places overcook them.“

“Really impressed with all facets of this place on our first visit. The beer list is vast and has some gems we weren't familiar with. The food was fresh and diverse -- probably the best homemade veggie burger we've found in a while, with a nice crunch to complement the excellent flavors, and probably 50 different combinations on the menu to dress it up. And our bartender was very impressive -- they got unexpectedly slammed with a 2 pm lunch rush, but the bartender took care of everyone with calm, friendliness, and spot-on recommendations about their orders. Definitely will return.

Vegetarian options: Substitute their homemade veggie burger on any of their creative burger options. Could spend a lot of time exploring the options.“

“Me and my family of 7 went here for lunch and there was only one person working there and was very nice and respectful. The food came very fast for there being 7 people ordering at once and all of the food was amazing and very well made i highly recommend giving it a try. The outside of the building may look a bit sketchy but the people who work there are very nice and have great food.

“We were passing through Winchester, VA on the way back home to Ohio from our vacation in North Carolina. We stopped into the Union Jack Pub for a bite to eat. It was a Friday night and they were pretty crowded so I was a bit skeptical of the service we might receive. We sat at 2 open seats at the bar and were waited on promptly. The food was tasty; but, most importantly the staff was awesome. A special shout out to Justin. who was our bartender and Angela, who also waited on us. They were pleasant, friendly, so helpful and efficient on this busy night. The kitchen staff we encountered were just as kind and friendly.
It's great to have a good meal, but pleasant and kind staff are the icing on the cake. We definitely plan to stop back again!!“
