“I visited Bites in Annandale for the first time yesterday, and I absolutely fell in love with the place. The food is incredible—so flavorful, with lots of topping choices and a variety of sauces. They have delicious chicken and another meat option (both were amazing). I highly recommend getting the combo! Their desserts are also a must-try. I had a crepe with Oreo, KitKat, Nutella, banana, and strawberries, and it was absolutely delicious.

The best part is that they’re open until 4 in the morning, which was perfect since I was looking for a late-night spot. The staff was extremely friendly, even during the late hours. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can enjoy the patio on a nice day. Everything was just perfect. I can’t recommend Bites enough—whether it’s for a quick bite during the day or a late-night meal, this place is worth a visit!

Kid-friendliness: I would recommend the lamb for kids or anyone not used to spicy food, as the chicken has a bit of a spicy kick. The lamb is flavorful and a great alternative!“

“Ate here for the first time today. Loved the lamb platter I had. Large enough it should have been 2 meals, but I liked it enough it was only one.

Service was quick even during lunchtime rush. I usually go to the “Halal guys” down the street, but will definitely swap over to Shah’s.

I can’t wait to go back to try their chicken and waffles!

Parking: If there is no parking immediately around the building, there is usually some just behind the building. This site used to be a Dunkin’ Donuts and the lot was always full. Sometimes disconcerting to maneuver around because it was so tight.
Shah’s did a great job cleaning up some of that parking madness.“

I highly recommend a delicious appetizer called shafout and the vegetable stew, saltah, which is served still boiling in a clay pot with hot, freshly baked bread. “Seekh Kababs platter was just amazingly delicious. Comes with 2 Seekh Kababs 1 naan and tons of Kabuli Pulao and chick peas. “This location is fantastic! The atmosphere is great, providing a variety of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is kind and makes some absolutely delicious food, I really enjoyed the chicken! Lots of free parking is available along with lots of other locations nearby to get shopping done etc. My only complaint is that all of the provided sodas had a very little amount of carbonated water, making drinks from the soda machine taste off. The fresh juices were also quite good, but $3 for a small drink is far too much. The food here is great, but bring your own drink.

Parking: A very large amount of free and handicapped spots, be aware that the spots are shared between all of the other businesses in the area.

Kid-friendliness: Just about as kid friendly as any other restaurant, nothing special about it, but nothing is bad for kids here.“
