“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“I had the black noodles, galbi and the spicy beef stew, and these dishes were outstanding. The galbi was perfectly marinated—sweet, savory, and grilled to tender perfection with just the right amount of char. Every bite was juicy and full of flavor.

The spicy beef stew (yukgaejang) was equally impressive. Rich, hearty, and packed with shredded beef, vegetables, and just the right level of heat. It had that deep, comforting flavor that warms you from the inside out. The broth was addictive, and the portion was generous.

Great service, cozy atmosphere, and authentic Korean flavors. This place is a must-visit for Korean food lovers! A great place for authentic, hearty Korean meal.“

“The best little bakery you could ask for and it’s right in my neighborhood. This could be a problem. Maybe if I walk there I can burn enough calories to justify a daily cinnamon roll. And time my arrival as Max is pulling them out of the oven. Because they are sooo good. Also try the baguettes, croissants, and various pastries that seem to randomly roll out throughout the morning. Note: if you want a fat Cinnabon, go to the mall. These are cinnamon rolls with a moist, barely baked center. Apparently not everyone is a fan of the sweet gooey center. Hahaha - just pass it over here! Enjoy. (Daily?)“

Leticia always has a smile on her face, Rosa is always so welcoming, and Mayerlis is so kind! “After hearing of Bunnyman for months, I decided to hit it up with a few friends on a Friday night. It did not disappoint at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is serene with great music. The music volume is perfect too so you can still socialize without having to shout. My favorite amenities though, are the self-pour feature, the diversity of beer flavors, and the ease of paying. The taps are really easy to use and to keep track of how much your bar tab is accumulating. On top of that, you don't have to wait at all for a refill- just head on up to the tap and pour, amazing system! The Irish Red beer was my go-to, and it was very pleasing to see that on tap when it's not actually Oktoberfest season, (I can never seem to find it most times of the year). We will all definitely be back, as well as looking forward to visiting their Lorton location! Keep up the great work and the awesome selection of beers, mad props!“

“Love this place! The staff is incredibly wonderful. Always so sweet and helpful. Always willing to answer questions, offer suggestions, and improvise when needed. Been multiple times and have always had a great experience. They also work their butts off keeping the orders cranking out. We have a gluten allergy and dairy allergy in our family so they are always helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating when we order. The space is adorable. You can feel the vibe that is a kind, loving, community space.“

“I recently visited Makchang Dodok K-BBQ, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They made us feel right at home, walking us through the menu and offering helpful suggestions for first-timers. You can tell they really care about creating a great experience for their guests.

The service was fast and efficient without feeling rushed. Our server kept checking in to make sure everything was cooked to our liking and that our drinks and side dishes were always full. It’s rare to find such a friendly and professional team at a busy restaurant, and they truly stood out.

“The best Vietnamese food hands down! When I’m in the area I always have to stop by Le Bledo to get a banh mi and a soup. The consistent quality and attention to detail is what makes this place great. I know what to expect so I’m always satisfied with my food from the fresh baked daily bread to the variety of Vietnamese classic soups such as pho, bun bo hue, and bun rieu 😋 10/10 highly recommend and bring a friend!“

“The food is outstanding! All made fresh and so delicious. Family owned and very friendly. The calamari was perfectly cooked and had a beautiful dusting as opposed to a heavily breaded crust. The grilled octopus was tender and flavorful. We’ve sat both outside in the relaxing courtyard and inside the casual restaurant. This restaurant beats the food at Old Town’s Greek restaurants. I stopped by randomly after driving by and seeing bright lights in an empty parking lot at 8/9PM on a Wednesday night. Only thing I didn't like -- absolutely BLARING loud music (drake) that I could barely hear the guy taking the order and he could barely hear me either. It was obstructive. I would go back again the bowl was, like I said, absolutely delicious.“

“My favorite grocery store. Traveling through Virginia, stopped for some baked goods. Wegmans always has baked goods especially in the fall. And I love their pumpkin pie. However, all the baked goods today looked like they were dried out and they just looked bad so I didn’t even get the pumpkin pie because it looked like it was cracked and old and dry. I just got a few cookies and they were good, but I still like Wegmans the fruit is fresh“
