“It's wild to see that this place has anything less than a 5 star rating, I live about 45 minutes away and still bring my daughter as often as I can. The staff has ALWAYS been friendly, and the ice cream has always been amazing albeit I do agree it's a little pricey, but that's what you get when the milk comes from the farm right behind the building and not from a corporation. My ONLY negative review about here is how muddy the the ground gets by the slides, alot of times we have to pass on playing.Parking: Gravel parking lot, numerous unmarked spaces.Kid-friendliness: The staff has been amazing and patient with my daughter (5yo) every time we've been in, offering tastes when she doesn't know what she wants, to always having a smile and actually talking to her like she's a person and asking her what she wants.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is gravel, front entrance has a double door that can be opened, everything is on 1 level.“
“Please visit Ms. Evelyn here during the 340 road closure, she is open Weds - Sun and serving ice cream!! You can get here by driving through the "local traffic only" signs posted at the WV9 and 115/Chestnut Hill Road (CoRte32) intersection and continue driving down Chestnut Hill Road. You can also get here from Charles Town Road>Hostler Road >Chestnut Hill Road. I've been here a few times now and always look forward to the next visit. The portions are large and there's SO many flavors to choose from! The menus come with gluten free allergen labels and when ordering, Evelyn uses a dry-erase checklist so every order is always correct. Evelyn has hard scoop ice cream, soft serve, Italian ice, banana splits, hot dogs and more! We've loved everything we've tried. ? you will not be disappointed!“

“Simplicity at its finest. The raging bull is my favorite milk shake. It’s got a nice strong shot of espresso in it.The BLT is dynamite. As is the chicken salad. They have a chili that they don’t make in house. But, from what I understand, it is locally sourced and really good. I highly recommend stopping in for lunch some time!“

“Had literally the worst day to include my car breaking down. Took my daughter in for a treat I had promised her and at check out I realized I left my wallet at work. The young lady working was so extremely kind and understanding. I'm sorry I didn't get her name but her kindness tonight was the biggest blessing. We will be frequenting this location often! Highly recommend!“
“We had Gruto’s Soft Serve catered at our wedding via their new food truck! It was by far the best experience I have had with them. The owner was very responsive to questions and accommodating to various flavor and topping requests. They were open at our venue for just over one hour. Guests were able to come and go as they pleased. The two workers were amazing - Courtney and Sydney! They were very bubbly and kind to all of our guests. We LOVED having the new truck at our event and hope to see them at future events in the area! We highly recommend using Gruto’s Soft Serve’s Ice Cream Truck at your next event!“

“Almost every locale in Purcellville is a small town business. Tipped Cow Creamery makes strong case why small town businesses are just better than well-known ice cream parlors.Tipped Cow is the only place I can get some of my favorite flavors like sweet cream and chai tea ice cream. Super thick, full-bodied, and extra creamy. Can you blame me for rating Tipped Cow so high? Eating ice cream at Brusters, Ben & Jerry, Ritas, Cold Stone, or Dairy Queen are just fleeting moments of joy and if I can choose between them all, I would choose local hand made Tipped Cow any time.“

“Glad we stumbled upon this charming spot! The welcoming staff, good food, and delightful coffee drinks made our visit enjoyable. Nestled in a neighborhood, the coffee house features mismatched seating, cute art on the walls, and even tables with games--plus, it's dog-friendly.“
