“The food at this restaurant is excellent. The atmosphere is great and the staff are very friendly. The men's restroom is very clean, considering how much it gets used, but the toilet paper is a little on the rough side. Overall, it is a great place to have a meal with family and friends. You won't be disappointed.“
“We ordered the big cravings pack and a combo meal and it came out super quick, but it was unfortunately missing a taco. The employees were friendly and sweet. The lady taking our order didn't mind when we took a few minutes to make our choices. And the older lady who was at the register was very polite, using "sir" and making sure we had all our sauces and a drink tray.“
“Wonderful little spot for your mexican food fix! Although the place is not that big, it makes up for it in tasty food! The place was nice and clean. Service was good. It was seat yourself and grab your own drink out of the cooler. I liked that idea. The food was the definite star! To start, just the chips and salsa were some of the best I have had. The burrito I had, with beef tongue as the meat, was excellent. I wish it would have come with some side like refried beans or something, but it was still good. My culinary companions both thought their meals were excellent. So glad we stopped and will definitely be going back. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!“
“The Tacos Birria are delicious whether they are the 2-taco lunch portion I had this time or the 3-taco dinner portion, which you can get at lunch. The staff is still friendly. The only change is my tea is now served in 16 ounce glasses and costs more. This applies to other non-alcoholic drinks as well.“
“This is the best taco truck on the planet. I always get two carnitas tacos with the queso and they give us free chips each time. So. Fire. Just all around amazing and the guy who owns this truck is a literal sweetheart. Support your local food vendors !!!!!“
“We had a lovely lunch. The food was freshly prepared. The presentation was attractive and the spicing was subtle and tasty. The service was better than I have had in even some fine dining establishments: attentive, pleasant. Plates were promptly removed, to go boxes provided and beverages refilled. The restaurant was very clean. The cook was authentic and skilled. There were vegetable options on the menu. I did not think to confirm if these were vegetarian.Pricing was very reasonable for what we received. We would definitely return.“
“I had not eaten here before but I decided to drag my very picky mother in law here for lunch. She didn’t have a single complaint, not one and she always finds something to complain about. Tortillas are fresh, meat was tender and so flavorful. She got chicken and chorizo tacos and I had Al Pastor and Quesa Birria tacos and all of it was just magnificent. They were generous with the onions and cilantro as well as the salsa. The beans that come with it were simple but oh so tasty and the cantaloupe frescas was delicious and refreshing. I can’t say enough how delicious everything was. The lady at the window was very friendly and helpful too. I will be dragging my husband here sooner than later.“
“A spacious fun spot downtown great for any time of the day on your own or with a group. With daily specials it's a win whenever. They have a variety of different dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff is engaging and friendly making for an enjoyable experience. A nice addition to downtown that surely will only get better as the weather warms up and you can sit outside.“
“Food was very tasty! I really enjoyed immersing myself in some of the culture. Restaurant has a bar which would be great for happy hour! My group of three were treated very nice upon arrival and during our visit. Food did not take a long time to come out.“
“I love this place.I have been twice, the second time took my mother who is very picky on her Mexican food. She loved the place and will go back again.Get different salsa it is worth it.A little more expensive then La Caretta or Mi Patron, but the quility and enviroment is worth it.Plus the little waiter robot is cool.Wheelchair accessibility: Mom is in a wheelchair and it was a comfortable table for her.“
“yep, meself € my Mommy went there ate small lunch together B4 my Dr.'s appt. 1/2 way down the road ... their food was absolutely great... ordered 2 small plates of Chicken Talaveras w/ soda pop...+ it was kinda over crowded too !!!??Parking: Great locationsKid-friendliness: Great place >> Kids too !!??Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for wheelchairs parking spaces !!“
“Good service when dining in, and very fast when ordering to-go. If you don't in on a weeknight you may be pleasantly surprised at just how quickly you get your food, but on the weekends expect a regular wait time. For something a little more authentic, try the Chilaquiles (spicy) or the Tacos Al Pastor with Horchata as your drink! The fajitas are really good, and enough food for one parent to share with two little kids as long as you ask for more tortillas.“
“El Mariachi is a wonderful little restaurant that has high-quality Mexican food, but it's the consistency that separates from the pack. I have visited many times and almost every time the taste is the same. The staff does a good job making sure you have what you need. Great food at a decent price.“
“We went to this restaurant today 1/2/24, after seeing it yesterday when we arrived in town. This will be a two paragraph review.First, the food we ordered is very similar to el toreo back in Ocala. I ordered the choripollo, which is chicken cooked with mexican sausage, and it was grilled excellently but not perfectly, and the sausage was a nice smokey blend and not salty like store bought. My wife ordered the standard chimichanga and an a la carte quesadilla. Her chimichanga was perfectly fried until the cheese inside was melty, and the steak inside was well seasoned. The shell was crispy outside and soft inside. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and actually pointed out the chimichanga because my wife couldn't find it on the menu. He also was very quick on the drink refills, but I never did catch his name. The restaurant itself however was very very loud.“
“La Carreta always has great Mexican food. The workers are always nice. I recommend the Chicken Talaveria and the Chips and Salsa are always hot and fresh. The workers are always super kind!Kid-friendliness: The kids menu has some great options.“
