“I visited my friend during lunch, who works upstairs. I had already ate my lunch but didn't want to sit there awkwardly so she recommended the bakery downstairs. I got a blueberry muffin, and it was really good. I'm a picky muffin eater so I wasn't expecting much. The sugar crust was crunchy and sweet, paired well with the muffin cake. The cupcake was filled with a lot of blueberries, they definitely do not skimp out! I noticed they had a lot of different dessert options and also serve coffee/lattes along with lunch items. If and when I visit my friend again, I'll have to visit Sweetbites as well.“

“Baked & Wired received so much attention from various websites and reviews - we had to pop by! Georgetown is known for its cupcakes, and I would like to know why!We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We found the the line extending outside the store but it moved quickly. We used the time to visit its website for pictures and to make a decision (we would find later the staff was lacking warmth!)We ordered Strawberry and Vanilla Satin. While the strawberry was touted to be top seller, we found it was way too sweet. We shaved off the frosting and found a deliciously moist cupcake with a fragrant strawberry taste. Vanilla satin topped with dark chocolate proved to be a perfect pairing.Adequate seating in the cafe with one restroom at the back. Good for afternoon break while exploring Georgetown!Also bought home the granola which has a subtle hint of coconut. It was yummy but the hefty price tag $17.50 will mean not a second purchase…“

“Great selection of Filipino baked goods, and an Ube and Pandan-lover’s dream.The donut was fresh, with a nice crust. The cream was smooth and light, though the pandan flavour was quite subtle.I loved the Baked Siaopao, a slightly flaky bread filled with pulled pork and egg.I bought the Ube Pan de Sal as well, and am so excited to try it!“

“Finally got my hands on some Strib'ble treat cupcakes, and wow, they did not disappoint! These cupcakes were unbelievably soft and juicy, hitting the spot perfectly after a smoke session. La'Wann, the owner, was simply amazing. Not only did she provide a breakdown of her top-notch products and services, but she also offered a brief consultation on the best ways to utilize them. The range of options was impressive, and now I know exactly where to go when the munchies strike. Highly recommended!“

“I recently tried Nothing Bundt Cakes for the first time and absolutely loved it! I got the strawberries and cream flavor bundt cake it was phenomenal . My favorite part was how moist the cake was. The cream cheese frosting was also delicious. There's a big shopping center parking lot in front of the store. There was also no line when I went and the service was friendly and efficient. I just picked a cake a the cashier rang me up.Compared to other popular options like Georgetown Cupcakes, Nothing Bundt Cakes literally takes the cake! I will be back to try other flavors!“

“Lavender Moon has been my go-to spot for cupcakes since 2013. There’s something about their cupcakes that are so different that it makes you want to keep returning. Maybe it’s the texture of the cupcake or maybe the unique flavors they offer, but one thing I do know for sure is that they use very good ingredients. You can literally taste the difference.They have a few staple flavors like vanilla bean with lemon curd that you can never go wrong with. However, I always try something unique like pistachio cherry or chocolate bourbon. Sure, I like some flavors better than other but I’ve never had a cupcake I could complain about from them.I would consider this place a boutique cupcake place since their flavors as well their interior design is unique and quite whimsical. The staff are nice but I think they may be nicer to regulars than new customers from my observation and input from my friends when they pick up an order for me. It’s a small place so I wouldn’t suggest bringing a large group here unless it is for take-out.Cupcakes are a priced fairly but definitely way more expensive than the ones you buy premade at the grocery store… but you’re paying for high quality ingredients and the taste is 100 times better. I can’t ever complain about their prices because it is simply worth it.Dietary restrictions: They also have gluten-free cupcakes.Parking: Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re looking for something for free- but it’s Old Town Alexandria so it’s to be expected.Kid-friendliness: I’ve seen parents bring their kids here for cupcakes and it’s always so cute to see their faces light up when they see that they have so many flavors to choose from.“

“Stopped in for the Bogo sale they had and this is such a pleasant store with pleasant employees! I've been getting cakes from them ever since I discovered them a few years ago. This was my first time visiting this location and as always I received great service. I ordered my cakes online and picked them up with ease. The employees even let me know about the new churro bundts that came out this week and I can't wait to try one! I'll definitely be back because these cakes are amazing and they offer tons of flavors. The cakes are also reasonably priced. I got the mini strawberry and crème cake and the mini white chocolate raspberry cake. Super tasty! They offer cakes for holidays, birthdays, and have seasonal flavors. Cute little bakery!“

“First Let me say the Customer service & place overall here was VERY welcoming!! a little cheerful even which was great to be because I've been down since having retina surgery!. The Manager Kirubel was so kind/happy to help/nice he helped me so much over the phone and in person . The Reese Cup Bundlet was sold out completely EVERYWHERE!! but here!! they had some left!! (I'm telling you it's a Food God somewhere in heaven too that really looked out !!). I'm so grateful because he said he could hold them which ppl usually don't/cant so I appreciate the extra mile!!.. I got the Reese Cup limited Time Bundlet I ordered yesterday last day the 25th!! I picked it up then!!!! Drumroll This Location ONLY is running a special buy one Bundlet get one FREE!! of the Reese Cup ones!! I should've got two but My Mom has been my saving grace besides god himself so I got her carrot cake!!...the Reese Cup Bundlet was sooo Good!! so within the next few days I'll be here ...but I'd definitely recommend this location it's more welcoming, it's highly colorful Ambiance set up and the display case is beautifully designed and presented with The cakes & New Cookies & Cream Flavor! If only I could trade my location for this one!! It's absolutely makes a difference when you have wonderful service!! You come back more often!!“

“My son requested a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes for his birthday. He wanted the snickerdoodle flavor with a drizzle of frosting. I thought it was delicious. The cake was moist, not too sweet, and melt in your mouth flavor. We picked the 8 ounce size and it was the perfect amount. We had a lot of leftovers to take home. Service was great. I ordered 48 hours in advance and it was waiting for me, when I arrived. The birthday decorations were lovely. The store is clean and well organized. I loved the way it was decorated. Each little display centered around a holiday,?wedding, or birthday. Everyone was exceptionally nice and helpful. I won't hesitate to return and get more cakes. Thank you, Nothing Bundt Cakes.“

“It’s so great to have an entire bakery dedicated to being Vegan. They have a good selection of cookies, cupcakes, cakes, brownies, pies and ice cream cookies and coffee. We had a cupcake and slice of cake and an iced coffee. The cupcake was delicious and moist one of my favorites I’ve ever had, the cake was dense and super sweet I would say it’s overly sweet as you cannot finish it. The iced coffee was also way!!! To sweet! Couldn’t taste the coffee flavor. The space is smaller connected to several other food places.“

“You have to go! DEFINITELY WORTH IT. THE RATING SHOULD BE 5 STARRS! I've been in DC for 12 years, and I wish that I had discovered this place sooner.The texture of the ice cream is impeccable. Creamy and luxurious without being dense, heavy, or tacky. No frost or big ice crystals in the body of the ice cream, making it super smooth.There's enough varieties without everything tasting like chocolate, cake, or berry forward like your mainstream ice cream shops.I got the halvah, cardamom almond, and Fred & ginger (peach, brandy, & ginger). The cardamom almond is my favorite from the scoops I've tried out. I also bought mud pie pint to take home.“

“I love majority of their cakes. It really makes me happy that their carrot cake that typically would have nuts in it does not as a person with nut allergies but my favorite definitely is the white chocolate raspberry cake but please don't buy them all up because again, they're my fave.“

“I was surprised by how big this bakery is. Their style is very bright and modern. They also have so many options between cupcakes, ice cream, and cookies. I tried the salted caramel cupcake and it was amazing. The prices are not cheap but I think it is justified by the quality of the products, space, and service.“
