“We ate at 3 different locations within 2 days, if that is any indication- the menu is varied, the breakfast is delicious, and the milkshakes are amazing. Servers were always friendly and helpful, if a bit slammed. And the coffee is delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free toast that didn't taste like a brick, and clear indications of which items were gluten sensitive.“
“Our patient server Eddie got our order correctly without a problem even tho I changed my original order of crabcake quantity the first time . The peach for 2 ala mode is fresh and warm. So yummy! “Wife and I had a day date without the kids and started with brunch at City Diner, based on online reviews. Had never been there before but I am extremely happy that we followed online advice. Wife ordered the French toast with side of grits while I had the pancakes with side of home fries. Everything was amazing, even for my wife, who is very sensitive to salty food; all of our grub was just right. I'd say the best item was the French toast, followed closely by the home fries (which included peppers and onions). Coffee was also excellent. We finished off brunch with slices of red velvet cake and cheesecake, also both amazing. Cheesecake was the perfect sweetness level, not overdone like many restaurants make it.Service was very friendly and prices lower than any comparable place near us (Ballston). Highly recommend!“

Lots of options for breakfast, plenty of space to seat (get a booth!) and attentive service (they will make sure there's always plenty of coffee in your mug!). “?Got the Picante bowl, home fries and the fruity pebbles french toast. The bowl Couldn't complain about a single thing. The picante bowl was large, nicely proportioned with the ingredients. Our server Veronica was excellent. She was sharp and thorough with everything she did and even though it was busy and she apologized a few times for the wait for the food (which still wasn't extremely long) we told her it was Well worth it and we'll be back. “Had a delicious lunch today at Beeliner Diner. Great burgers with waffle fries. I usually don’t like waffle fries but these had a seasoning on them and I really enjoyed them. Friend got the Cobb salad and she loved it. Manager greeted us, thanked us for coming and did their menu will be expanding. They’ve done a great job on remodeling the space! It’s a breath of fresh air. we’ll definitely go back.“

“I was visiting Bethesda with the family and wanted something we don't have in central Illinois. After searching Google for help, I came across Tastee Diner, and it didn't disappoint. My wife had liver and onions, which she said was amazing. I went with the seafood platter. The oysters were good, as well as the flounder, clams, and shrimp. Kids ate breakfast food, and they were content, and its hard to satisfy all three of them. I would recommend this place to anyone. Quiet place, and the staff was awesome. 84 dollars for 6 people to eat can't beat it.“
