“Listen, to be quite honest if I could give this bar 17 stars I would. The bars of yesteryear, you can come in get yourself a nice tall boy and a shot and not spend over $40 are gone. But this place still holds on to the best kind of neighborhood bar tradition. The food here does what it needs to do. “Great bar with great vibes and even better employees. I truly cannot convey how grateful I am for the amazing employees at this bar! After fainting at the bottom of the stairs Friday night, the employees all immediately sprang into action, making sure that I was ok and asking questions while they called for paramedics. They even knew that I hadn’t been drinking, properly conveying that I was having a true medical issue. The first thing I remember is one of them telling me that I wasn’t alone and everything was going to be ok. Fainting episodes are always very disorienting and even painful for me, but everyone made me feel completely safe and comforted. They ensured no onlookers made me uncomfortable or laughed, really minimizing my immense embarrassment about the whole experience. They were so respectful, and one man in particular truly took care of me the entire time. Honestly, I’m sure they did even more than I was aware of, and I am so grateful for their assistance. This is an absolutely amazing bar that simply put my safety above all else. I have never been treated with such genuine care, thoughtfulness, and kindness during a fainting episode. My only regret is not getting any of their names to properly thank them for their help, so I really hope they see this! Your help meant the world to me, and I cannot wait to tell all of my friends to come to The Commodore!“

“The food was not good and service was subpar. Seemed like it was an okay place, but didn't have enough tables and was very small inside. Came late and on a few occasions when last call came, there were always 10 to 15 people still inside after the male bartender told everyone else to leave. He locked the door with always others left inside. I've observed this happening on a number of occasions. So last call, isn't apparently last call, and why were some staying when everyone else was told to leave?“

Only caveat is parking might be tough during peak hours. Be careful parking in Honey Pig and Rumba lots adjacent to 1943 Classic.“

“We hosted a large group (50+) at Settle Down Easy in Falls Church. Frank and Zoe were very helpful, suggesting options and answering questions. Frank was very accommodating and set a minimum spend instead of charging us to rent the space. The space had just the right vibe for this group. They partner with El Tio Tex-Mex Grill for catering, and that was a good experience, too. Everything was on time and as expected. It was a good experience and a venue that we would consider again for a group gathering.“

“Stayed at the Holiday Inn so we ate here and were pleasantly surprised! The yuca fries and crab dip were so good! The fries are really crispy and the sauce is creamy and a little spicy. The house red on the happy hour menu was also good for $6. Wasn't busy at all on a Monday during happy hour, but the service was great and prompt.“

“We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us“

“Fosters Grille is truly the hidden gem of Vienna. It holds the best atmosphere for sport team parties. It has tasty burgers, chicken sandwiches, and Philly chicken subs. I love this establishment and have been a customer since maybe 2009. The arcade is a great spot for kids and adults who just want to feel nostalgic with a nice claw game to win a prize. I love coming here on my days off and will continue to divulge in the fabulous Monday through Friday specials. The customer service impressed me when I showed up 30 minutes before the opened on accident and they gladly took my order and didn’t bat an eye. Great restaurant!“
