“Charming little place with only eleven tables. I have been wanting to try their pho since the reviews were so positive. Came at 1:30 PM on a Friday, there were three parties in front of us already been waiting. We were seated in 10 minutes. The owner/waiter was very friendly and efficient. He seems to know most of his customers by name. The place is very unique with interesting decorations. Unfortunately I am not a fan of their food. The pho broth lacked the strong flavors of beef bones being cooked for hours. Grilled Pork over Rice and Grilled Beef over Rice was OK, nothing special. From the look of it, I was really hoping that this could be my go to place for Pho, but it will not be.Please note that this is a CASH Only business and they are closed on Wednesdays. They close at 5 PM expect Sunday at 4 PM. I applaud that the owners are making time for themselves besides running a successful business.Parking: We had to park off the street.Wheelchair accessibility: There are stairs lead to the front entrance. There is no wheelchair ramp.“
“My name is Jakeline and we have an autistic son. He loves going to eat at Grace, I see that the girl brings the food to my son with so much love. Yesterday we went to dinner and when we arrived at the restaurant she had already placed a chair for my son at the table where he likes to sit. As a mother, my heart was full of love. Seeing the affection and attention they give us. Thank you for all your kindness and for the delicious food.“
“Picked up dinner from here for some company we had over from Rhode Island. So easy to order online, ready at the estimated time, and all the food was so delicious!! We got the spring rolls, noodles of the drunk w/ chicken, pad see ew w/ tofu, chicken pho, and chicken pad Thai. All dishes were excellent! ?? Our guests from RI loved it!! Would totally recommend if you’re craving Thai food!“
“First of all, the decor is so cute. I highly recommend the cocktail that is mango juice and soju. Goes down way too easy in a way that is dangerous to my bank account. They also have great vegetarian options. My partner loves their veg hot and sour soup (it has a nice kick to it). I got some form of noodles with broccoli and there were roasted pine nuts in it that was a perfect addition!“
“I’ve eaten here on and off over the past decade. Now that I moved to RVA permanently, it’s typically my go-to since I like to shop at Tan A for convenience. I feel like the food has declined some over the years and has less punch to the spices and sauces. The portions have gotten smaller but that’s pretty expected nowadays. I do see that there are less Asian people eating there so maybe that’s why the taste has changed… lol. Not a lot of other decent competition though, so I can’t complain too much since there’s no Eden center here.“
“Came here for an early dinner with my daughter (5) and son (4) who both had a grand time. They were patient and accomodating and brought us extra bowls and utensils. My kids split a bowl of the signature Tenka Ramen (and by that I mean they devoured it) as well as some dumplings. I had some takoyaki and the curry ramen - which I'd never seen before - both of which were delicious. The curry ramen was topped with fried chicken which both kids tried a piece of and loved. My daughter decided to do a mixture of both broths (just a little of the curry) because she liked them both, while my son declared that he preferred his own broth (the tenka) to mine.Service was quick and very friendly. We sat in a little booth, which was perfect. There was also a small amount of bad seating and a few tables. I think they may have had to reduce the indoor seating for staffing reasons since there's also room in the front that's currently used for people waiting for pick up orders now. Charming spot though, and right in the middle of the city. Definitely recommend if you're craving ramen!Parking: Limited street parking. Very busy on weekends.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved it, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. My daughter already asked to come back.“
“OH! MY! GOODNESS!!! We just happened to find this little slice of Pho deliciousness and SO GLAD we decided to have dinner. Each item we ordered had ALL THE FLAVORS! We had a pho dish and a rice fish, fried wontons and boba teas. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT as well! Our dinner filled our bellies and warmed our souls. THANK YOU“
“Delicious find! We could smell the broth from outside and came in to check it out. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We shared a spring roll appetizer and the peanut sauce was very tasty and flavorful. We had a number 3 pho with meatballs and number 12 pho with rare steak and brisket. For drinks, we orderes the mango green tea and pineapple green tea; the pineapple had crushed pineapple in it. We would highly recommend checking this place out!“
“We love the shoyu ramen - it’s perfect on any chilly or rainy day! The staff here is welcoming and friendly and although the outside might look like a more full service dining spot, it’s very much quick service! Food is out in 5-10 minutes. Great lunch or dinner spot, and love that they’re open until 10pm. Their menu items that say spicy are REAL spicy imo.“
“I love love this place!!! I get lunch here with my mom after work. This place has always held a special place in my heart, I’ve been going here since I was a kid I love their food and the workers. Everything is always so nice on the inside and the staff’s energy is always warming!!“
