“I stopped in on my way home and got 1/2 dozen cookies. The staff was super friendly and helpful, as it was my first visit. One may think they are pricey, however, they are huge, and can be shared!! One cookie is like having 4 of an ordinary cookie!! It was just 2 of us, so they lasted for a couple days if you keep them in a sealed container. We enjoyed every bite and will definitely be back for more cookies!!!!!!!!!!!!“
“HEAVENLY desserts that are allergen friendly! I’ve been struggling to find dairy and soy free desserts that taste edible but these go ABOVE AND BEYOND. I live 30 minutes away but will be a regular regardless. You have to try this place whether you need allergen free desserts or not-you won’t be able to tell the difference!“

“In a small city where quality food is difficult to find, Bittersweet Bakery is heavenly. They have a really nice assortment of sweets and savories and each item I've tasted is absolutely delicous!!! The 2 owners have palates that are spot on! Highly, HIGHLY recommend that you give this small bakery a try if you haven't already. They have a weekly menu that varies, which is really nice so you can try an assortment of baked goods at different times. You can also order online for pick up and place custom orders. Their key lime pie is absolutely delicious! As is their garlic cheddar biscuits and their cheesecake, just to name a few. Check them out! Your taste buds will thank you!!!“

“My wife has sent me here a few times to get her a cake and I signed for the rewards program just in time to get a free bundt cake for my birthday.
I was in town today so I stopped by to redeem my reward. The Oreo cookies and cream cake is really good but the employee who waited on me is the reason for the review. Diane was very nice and I enjoyed talking to her!! She seemed like the type of person I could talk to for hours. Great employee!“

“Great bread. Wish they had a store to get bread the rest of the week as they only sell at the Harrisonburg market on Saturdays. But their bread is delicious. Their granola is amazing. Everything I’ve tried I’ve been happy with.“
