“Wonderful lunch. Sandwich so big we shared it. Excellent lunch of ham, cheese on sour dough bread with drinks and chips for $8.99. Then ice cream. The store is full of jams, jellies, cakes, cookies and pies. Love this place. Also has stone statues and wood furniture for sale.“

“I looked everywhere for a local made Caramel Cake for my wife's birthday. I called Knakal and was told they made it. They sell it in 2 or 3 layers. I ordered the 3 layers and drove over 90 miles to pick it up. It was worth the drive! The cake and icing were moist and excellent. When I arrived, I told the lady at the counter it was for my wife's birthday. She turned and went in the back about 5 minutes and returned with Happy Birthday and 2 flowers inscribed on the cake. The cake was DELICIOUS and reasonably priced. Such a great southern treat!“
