“I never shy away from a place because of its location. I found that the hole in the wall places are among the absolute best. Nawab Indian Cuisine is a definite hit.
I highly recommend eating in so you may have an opportunity to experience the service but also cap your meal with the milk chai cardomon. Tea.
First, the staff is very attentive and friendly without feeling overbearing. They watch very closely from a distance.
My meal lamb Rogan was among some of the best I’ve had in the states.
With a Punjabi hand in the kitchen, don’t be afraid to take your Spice level up a level or two. Especially if you’re going with the goat. The full richness of flavor you’ll receive might be worth it.
The basmati used is excellently prepared I’m excited to try a biryani the next time I’m in town.
The rice and the bread were as good or better than fancier restaurants in fancier areas of town.
With that said, don’t let the area or the locals throw you off the parking lot has adequate security for the mall and once inside, you’ll find a clean modern inviting experience that is good for business dinners, family, or even a romantic experience. “I ordered the kimbap and naengmyeon, the portions were huge! The meal also came with a side soup and banchan which I wasn't expecting. The buckwheat noodles were chilled and spicy, super chewy and very filling, highly recommend if you are looking for a dish thats outside the norm“

“The cocktails here are incredible. They're not too expensive and have a variety of fun options with interesting presentation. The charcuterie board had some delicious cheeses. The seafood pasta was creamy and the seafood was cooked perfectly, I wouldve liked a bit more flavor..The flour less chocolate cake was fine.

A heads up for special events: we asked if the kitchen could do something for a graduation but nothing was offered (I don't think they regularly do that sort of thing). All in all, terrific service and good food.“

“Delicious, authentic meal! Had this and the hot appetizer sampler platter. The seasonings were absolutely touching to the taste buds. All three meats on the kabob platter were marinated and tender. Highly recommend this little treasure in Newport News. The man (I’m assuming the owner) who served us was so nice and informative about the food of his culture. Thank you so much! The Super Young Lady we had as a Server, her name was Rachel was an absolute pleasure!! All of us said the same thing. Attentive. Super Personality and just couldn’t have been any sweeter. We all brag about the food; but Young People like this deserve recognition and hopefully Management let’s her know how much we enjoyed the food, but she was the highlight of the meal. Had my usual plain hamburger with veggies - amazing and on point. Kiddos had chicken fingers and fries and while you are probably thinking you can't screw that up well ya can. They have the better chicken nuggets in the area (kids tested). Of course you can't forget about the donuts - amazing and always on point! Again - our waitress was amazing - she had a large table, our table, and another but still managed to keep up with everything.“

“The price was on the higher end, but I enjoyed the food. I liked that the broth I got was not oily, rather it was translucent and aromatic which is a sign of high quality Vietnamese broth. Not every pho restaurant will offer vegetarian dishes, so that they have them available made me happy. I would recommend giving them a go and seeing if it’s for you. In addition, the portion I received for takeout was able to personally justify the price for me, since I was able to eat pho for 2-3 consecutive meals (lol). Your mileage may vary.“

I love a good breakfast and brunch spot with a variety of menu options. 9 :10 Customer service (server Grace) 8 :10 Food 7.5 :10 Étouffée & Grits which came with toast or biscuit. A lover of Creole and Cajun food this was a bit salty. I'm a biscuit lover and I opted for biscuit which was very dry. Server allowed me to get sourdough toast to replace. Overall 8.1 : 10“
