One of the best Soulfood Restaurants I've experienced in a good while! I ordered the Turkey Wings with collards and stuffing as sides. The cornbread is a must have, I don't care what dish you decide to try! My wife had the Fried Catfish, with Yams and Cabbage as the sides. 2 of my 3 children ordered the BarBQ Rib plate with Mac n Cheese and Mashed Potatoes as their sides. I love this place, and I love the new location. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you pass up Amayes n-Soulfood. There is nothing not to like about this restaurant. The ambience is lovely. Poor customer service. They NEVER answer the phone and the ONE TIME they answer, the young lady on the phone displays a poor tone, then gets our order wrong. We don't find out until we get there that she messed it up costing us nearly 40 dollars for two plates of food. Could have cooked it myself for that price. That said the food was excellent tasting but the wings were hella small. Make sure you check your order before paying, something I tell mine all the time.
