I had lunch today here and I recommend the ramen and the tuna and salmon sushi!
My wife and I ate here prior to a show at the Chartway Arena, and even with the show rush, the staff here did an amazing job taking care of us and did so with the best attitude I’ve seen in a while. Our server Taylor was absolutely kind, efficient, and adaptable and was a big part of our amazing experience, and even though they were very busy, we were checked on frequently and served with speed. The floor inside was pretty dirty and the sushi roll I ordered was soggy and greasy. I come here every so often but I’ve noticed over the last 2 years the service has declined tremendously. I feel like the management and or the service that you receive in here is pretty lackluster. I would hate to see it go but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did.

Osaka Ramen and Sushi offers fresh and flavorful sushi, perfect katsu bowls, and great ramen. The spicy girl, volcano roll, cucumber salad, and yakitori are delicious, with amazing sauce on the rolls. The food is always great, and the curry does not disappoint. Service is consistently reliable, excellent, and fast, with a nice and helpful staff. This quiet little place near ODU is a go-to family spot, visited at least once to twice a month. Guests almost never wait for a table and recommend ordering take out for a quick dinner. A must visit for delicious and satisfying Japanese cuisine.
