“It was Sunday and it's football season. They were swamped and there was two people working at the time I went in. I ordered 10 pizzas for my son's birthday. I did have to wait a little while. I don't know the girl's name but she was a blonde hair girl with a ponytail. She was very accommodating and very nice about the wait time and she was absolutely killing the game while training somebody at the same time. They were so swamped and she was just locked in and crushing it. And I appreciate everything she was doing even though some people canceled their orders because of wait times,she didn't let that get to her. She just powered through. Got my order. Still told me that she was very sorry about the Wait time. It didn't matter to me because seeing her work ethic and power through something like that while people are standing there, watching and waiting is a true hospitality hero. Grear job, You should be proud of yourself.“

“My husband and I came in from out of town, and decided we wanted pizza for dinner. We had our dogs with us, so we would need someplace that was dog friendly. It was a little chilly outside, but we dined on the patio. We ordered a medium “works” pizza and a small fry. Portions were huge! Service was fantastic and food was delicious.“

“Caught up with an old friend I hadn’t seen since around ’95/’96 over lunch on 6/17/2025. I’m not usually a downtown Richmond person—city crowds just aren’t my thing—but I’m really glad he suggested this spot. I made the drive from King William, and it was absolutely worth it! The food was fantastic, and the laid-back atmosphere made it the perfect place to reconnect. I had the pork carnitas with a Caesar side salad—super flavorful, and the pork was incredibly tender. The Caesar dressing? Easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I’d love to know if it was homemade or store-bought, because I need it in my life! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxed and cool meeting spot. I’m already planning to explore more RIC gems soon!“

“I've been here three times hoping for better- I have never enjoyed anything I've eaten here. so this will be my last visit. The pizza is not great. The dough is rubbery and bland. a little salt wouldn't hurt anybody. But the real reason I'll never go back is because of the jerky "chef" who thinks he's funny. I don't think he's funny at all, in fact I think he's really rude. Quit the jokes and go back to culinary school. There is absolutely no reason for me to ever go here again. I know the people that own it are really nice but this guy is not and I just don't need to be subjected to that kind of BS while I am paying for it.“

“This was always my got to pizza when I was a student at VCU. It’s the perfect New York style pizza. Sometime I ask for it well done and it hits very similar to a New Haven pizza. I was obsessed with this place and anytime I can I always recommend it. I was once at the restaurant when the owner was there and he showed me how they made their dough, grinder their own cheese and created their own mix of cheeses. He wouldn’t give me too much info on the mix but what ever they are doing it’s working. The only thing I will say is that the pizza is very dependent on who is making it and how busy they are. I usually plan to order my pizza mid week. I also don’t ever get delivery.“

“I am a grandmother visiting from out of town. I came to my son’s house. I called Frank’s and another place and couldn’t get anybody to help me deliver. Deliver pizza to my grandkids and then I called Jojo’s, and the gentleman couldn’t have been kinder set up my delivery took my payment over the phone, including my tip, felt like old-fashioned service not all this new stuff with Uber eats and all that other stuff can’t wait for the food to get here. “I love zorch Pizza Parlor in Forest Hill. We’ve been here twice. The first time we went we ordered half cheese and half sausage, cheese is my favorite pie as it really gives the best representation of the love put into a pie. We went home and had a great dinner time but we decided that the next time we would sit down and enjoy their service and atmosphere. The service is great. I think they recognized me from my past reviews and altercation I’ve had with a pizza place in Carver. They were very welcoming and inviting as soon as we walked in they asked if we had already ordered, or if we wanted to sit down. Our waitress was extremely nice unfortunately I can’t remember her name I was so excited to order and they were playing Ninja Turtles on the TV. I’m a sucker for classic 90s cartoons. We ordered the almost like a pizza pie, this is not like a regular pizza and I’ve never had this style of pizza anywhere else. It was delicious, the crust was flaky and crunchy and the pizza was well cooked with pepperoni crispy edges and just the right amount of cheese. Let me tell you this was a big pizza and I was full three slices in. My girlfriend liked it but she wasn’t a big fan of the sweeter sauce. Next time we are going she wants to try the grandma pie.“

“We are business neighbors of Joe's pizza and a review is long over due. As a catering company, we spend so much time cooking for others and never for us! So when lunch time rolls around Joe's is our 'go-to'. Everything is ALWAYS tasty and portions generous. The size of a slice of pizza blew my nephews mind. Haha. Our order is filled quickly and accurately every single time. And the icing on the cake is that they hand deliver our order to our business so that we can get back to work while it is being prepared.
