“I'm just here to add another 5 stars! Hands down probably the best Mexican I've had, either this or Chociloco in Scott's Addition. I got the Burrito Macho Esteban and it's spicy! Full of flavor and I will go back. The prices aren't bad to begin with but the huge portion size I got made it even better! I was referred here by three friends and today was the day. You'll never see the restaurant from the road and probably pass by it a million times and not notice. I feel bad for them, if they were in a more visible spot they would probably be slammed with business all the time. However, don't let this detour you, the restaurant itself is not difficult to access. I will be back!!“

It truly had lump crab and lobster in the omelette some omelettes when you deal with seafood are skimpy with the crab and lobster, but hands-down Lulu was one of the best and their omelette was truly well done sometimes omelettes are not cooked all the way through. “I've been going to Jason's Deli for years now and they have a good offering of soups, salads, and sandwiches. It is disappointing that they changed the southwest chicken chili to a seasonal offering from being a regularly featured menu item. It's one of their best soups, in my opinion, and way better than the regular chili. Also disappointed that they changed the free for everyone items on the salad bar to only being included with a purchase of the salad bar. I just wanted a couple of the cornbread mini muffins to go with my chili but was told that I now have to pay extra for them. At least they still have the free soft serve ice cream.“

“I love zorch Pizza Parlor in Forest Hill. We’ve been here twice. The first time we went we ordered half cheese and half sausage, cheese is my favorite pie as it really gives the best representation of the love put into a pie. I think they recognized me from my past reviews and altercation I’ve had with a pizza place in Carver. They were very welcoming and inviting as soon as we walked in they asked if we had already ordered, or if we wanted to sit down. Our waitress was extremely nice unfortunately I can’t remember her name I was so excited to order and they were playing Ninja Turtles on the TV. I’m a sucker for classic 90s cartoons. We ordered the almost like a pizza pie, this is not like a regular pizza and I’ve never had this style of pizza anywhere else. It was delicious, the crust was flaky and crunchy and the pizza was well cooked with pepperoni crispy edges and just the right amount of cheese. Let me tell you this was a big pizza and I was full three slices in. My girlfriend liked it but she wasn’t a big fan of the sweeter sauce. Next time we are going she wants to try the grandma pie.“

As I pulled into the parking lot, the woman at the podium handing out receipts gave me a dirty look, possibly because of my loud exhaust. I proceeded to the line to order my beverage, and while I waited, she handed receipts to the two cars in front of me but stared at me and my car with the same look. She didn’t offer me a receipt, which my wife needs to scan for points on an app that helps us financially. I had to ask for one when I got to the window to pick up my drink. I noticed this number on the receipt, which belongs to the operator, Jason Umberger. I believe the employee may need some coaching on maintaining professionalism and not letting personal judgments affect her behavior at work. As a manager for a company in Virginia that sponsors VCU, the Flying Squirrels, and many others, I understand the importance of professional conduct in the workplace. This was 8/22/23 @ 6:19PM.“

There are a few things I really enjoy: the waffle fries, kale salad, and the consistently excellent customer service. Every location I’ve visited has friendly, respectful staff, and that’s something I truly appreciate. However, I personally find the chicken to be a bit too salty for my taste, so I tend to stick with a few sides I know I like.

My biggest concern is the cost. On our most recent visit, I ordered two meals and the total came to over $32. I understand prices have gone up everywhere, but for a fast food chain, that’s a lot—especially when you’re just a grandmother trying to treat her grandchild to something simple. Spending time together shouldn’t break the budget.

Overall, Chick-fil-A is a well-run, clean, and family-friendly place—but I do wish the prices reflected that same spirit of accessibility and care.“
