“Don't put powdered sugar on your pancakes unless you're going to advertise it. When somebody tells you they can't have powdered sugar on their pancakes don't try to scrape it off and flip them upside down and hand them back. Get another Chef because the cook and the kitchen today was rude and did not care about any of the people that were there. Took forever to get food and when it did come everything except for the bacon and the potatoes was inedible. Listened to other people in the restaurant return food and listen to the chef give lip about it and say it was not his problem. Waitress was pleasant, she even tried to tell the cook that he couldn't scrape powdered sugar off the pancake but he did it anyway, only downside about her was that she was concerned about her phone than anything else. Will never return again. I should have paid attention that the reviews on this page are two years or more old. definitely not the place that was reviewed previously. Don't know what's happened but it's not good.“

“Food is always amazing. best brisket in this part of Virginia. and we have tried a few places around Chesapeake and vb. nothing compares which is sad to the others but Tap it is about 7 mins from our house. Definitely the go to spot for something chill. love ❤️“

“We love Pollard’s at London Bridge Shopping Center, they are a staple in our monthly eating out rotation! Delicious fried chicken that is always hot and fresh which does require a small wait but never long. All of the sides are awesome that I’ve tried so far, potato salad, macaroni salad, mixed greens, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and cole slaw. The puffs that come with the chicken meals are delicious and the perfect sweet compliment with the honey to the savory food. Their hot sauce for their condiments is awesome too! Also shout out to them because we called them when my husband forgot to grab a gallon of sweet tea that we ordered with our meal and they refunded it to my card since my husband forgot it! Best chicken in Virginia Beach, the 757, and definitely one of the best in Virginia, my comfort food!“

“Really like this location and it is probably only because I love when I get out of class I can stop here on the way home. When Tina is manager I can always depend on quick and courteous customer service. She always makes sure my fries and biscuit is super fresh. And being that I'm a struggling college student she always keeps me abreast of any current promotions or deals. That says to be she's willing to go the extra mile for her customers. Food always hot and always service with genuine kindness. If you ever choose this restaurant ask for Tina, she'll take care of you!!“

“Ordered a 16 piece (just chicken) in advance and the food was ready for pickup at the requested time and hot. The chicken was tender and tasty, not over breaded or soggy. They are a well-known restaurant in the Hampton Roads area and awarded the best chicken in the area, which shows in the quality they provide. A little bit higher than the local grocery store, but worth the cost.“
