“This review is long overdue! My sister and I decided to grab a bite before heading to the casino back in July. We found this gem! Food was AMAZING, staff was friendly, and the drinks were strong! We happened to come on karaoke night and had a blast! The owner sat and chatted with us a bit and made feel really welcome.

Definitely going back next time I’m in town!“

“Don't put powdered sugar on your pancakes unless you're going to advertise it. When somebody tells you they can't have powdered sugar on their pancakes don't try to scrape it off and flip them upside down and hand them back. Get another Chef because the cook and the kitchen today was rude and did not care about any of the people that were there. Took forever to get food and when it did come everything except for the bacon and the potatoes was inedible. Listened to other people in the restaurant return food and listen to the chef give lip about it and say it was not his problem. Waitress was pleasant, she even tried to tell the cook that he couldn't scrape powdered sugar off the pancake but he did it anyway, only downside about her was that she was concerned about her phone than anything else. Will never return again. I should have paid attention that the reviews on this page are two years or more old. definitely not the place that was reviewed previously. Don't know what's happened but it's not good.“

“Absolutely delicious food. The blend of all the different flavors was heavenly. I have celiac and love how I didn’t have to worry about contamination or have to compromise on food quality. The staff was very friendly. My friend brought me here for my birthday, and I’m So grateful. I will be returning and recommending this place.“

“this place is absolutely delicious. I was with a bunch of guys who all raved over their brisket and pulled pork. I had the salmon, which is not always the best idea at a bbq joint but it was outSTANDing! the fired green tomatoes were yummy too. with a cool, modern building in the heart of Ghent and super friendly staff, this place is going to become a new hangout. we were there for lunch so we haven't tried the bar scene but that's next on the list. if I could give it an 11 out of 10, I would!“

Trevor was very accommodating and he was just as polite in person as on the phone. I appreciated the wonderful customer service! The atmosphere was laid back and chill. “Best BBQ we’ve had in a long time! We got the brisket and spare ribs meal. Portion sizes are great - every item from the meats to the sides were loaded with flavor. The green beans had a nice crunch and slight spicy kick to them. The Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious! Definitely will be getting more next time we see the truck! Others around us at the Daffodil Festival were asking where we got the meal from because it looked so delicious!“

“We've always enjoyed eating in at Cracker Barrel, but have recently ordered take-out a few times. That has been a GREAT experience! First of all, we received PLENTY of food, unlike a number of other places that provide take-out meals; and, as always, the food has been delicious!!! We've really enjoyed these "home-cooked" meals from the comfort of our home!“

“I love Pollards .. they've been a staple here in this area for many years. They've not fixed what wasn't broken. They are the best place for livers & gizzards left some town. Friendly & fast service in this location. Clean & not too busy the day that I stopped in. Food was cooked fresh & was very good. I'm glad they're still around! I had the mixed livers & gizzards plate w/mac & cheese & green beans. Delicious.. puffs are always a delight!

“Amazingly quiet for such a comfortable place to eat delicious crabcakes or get the excellent Monday burger deal. Even at 2pm on a Monday I would understand if the place had been overfilling with people but the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet.
