There were only two other tables (both had 4 people), one group was at the end of their meal, the others halfway through theirs. We sat there with no service for 15 mins and finally had to go in and get someone. Food came quickly…I’m guessing because the waitress could tell we were ticked off. Anyway, it was at least another 15-20 mins before we were checked on again, and took another 7 mins for my drink refill. We normally tip 25%, but today it was about 9%, and that was because I didn’t want to be a total jerk. Again, very disappointed.“

“last time we placed the order they didn’t let us know there was no cookie pizza available. I had ordered online. So we were a bit disappointed. But I gave it another go tonight and everything was perfect. They were pleasant on the phone confirming my online order, the order was prepared in a good amount of time, and everyone at the store was nice to talk to. “We tried this Papa Johns twice recently on different occasions a couple of weeks apart. We were just traveling through and it's a good stop over for the night. A major deciding factor was that this Papa Johns would deliver, even if it was through something like DoorDash or such. But they do it all through the Papa johns, so you do not have to have a door dash account or such. This is why I gave them four stars instead of three.
The food was OK. It was edible, but by far not the best pizza I've ever had. But to be fair to Papa Johns, it wasn't the worst either. It was good enough to order it a second time. More so for the convenience than quality and taste. So it provided us with a meal. Maybe not the best meal ever, but by far not the worst meal ever either. But a 12 inch pizza delivered is over $20. So the convenience of delivery is not the cheapest option. But most folks wanting this convenience understand.
But I will point out that the main and only reason we ordered from this Papa Johns the first time and again the second, was totally because they delivered without having to go through a third party. If I had to pick it up, without a doubt, we would have chose other options.
Bur I also will point out that we did order from them a second time, again for the convenience . So they could not have been all that bad.“

“Went in saturday afternoon around five o'clock. I was the only customer there were two employees. I wanted a coke and a pizza. The girl brought me the coke. I waited and waited and after getting impatient. I called out. I'm ready to order. Altogether, I called out three times over a ten minute span. Nothing. So I left really angry. How's that automatic built-in gratuity working out guys. Do you not grasp how important repeat business is. I've been a patron for the last six years ever since I moved to Blacksburg. Pretty good pizza, horrible service, auto gratuity, maybe why the service sucks, and a $2.70 fountain coke. They have a beer for $1.50. I'll be asking around for a new pizza place. Employees could take a little more pride in there personal appearance. The place is bordering on a freak show since they opened there dining room.“

“I ordered unsauced wings and a sausage and mushroom Papadilla. The delivery person, Paige, is wonderful and professional. The wings tasted delicious without any dipping sauce. Whoever put my order together didn’t read the stickers and gave me a meatball, pepperoni Papadilla instead of what I wanted.When I tried calling the store, all I got was a busy signal. When I called Paige, she promptly said she would make sure it would be remade.If all went right, I would have given 5 stars. Because of Paige, I gave 4, otherwise it would have been a lot less.“

“There was an issue with the customization of our pizza on the site that honestly made it tough to make. (Be careful to review your toppings and sauce selections, I’m not sure who would ask for extra barbecue sauce on a pizza, but it definitely wasn’t my intention). The shift leader, Connor, was very kind and helpful to explain what had happened and to rectify the situation. It was the kind of customer service that makes you more likely to give someone more of your business than if everything had gone perfectly from the start. Thank you!“

“My Fiancée , along with my best friend Steve, and I met at Troy’s today for lunch and our cheesesteaks were absolutely delicious! The service was fast and prompt. I moved away from the area in 1999 and going to Troy’s for an amazing cheesesteak was perfect. On top of that, the Owner had overheard that it was my 52nd birthday and surprised our party of 3 with Baklava! Can’t wait to go back!“
