“Due to a closure on I-81 south, we escaped the backup by ducking into town to take an alternate route south around the closure and ended up here for lunch. My $5 biggie bag was solid with a very good bacon cheeseburger, hot salty fries and decent chicken nuggets. Love the not 1 but 2 Coca Cola Freestyle machines. My wife thought her baked potato and chili were very good. The guy behind the counter had a good sense of humor. The free chocolate Frosty is always a plus.“
“My husband and I swung through the drive-thru this afternoon after doing some shopping across the street at Walmart.
The drive-thru was fast enough that we were able to place our order and be out quickly. The man at the window was polite and did a great job with customer service.
I ordered the Asiago Chicken Ranch and was happy with the food. My husband ordered a bacon burger and, for what it's worth, it was as advertised. I feel the staff did exactly what was required, and that is honestly why I gave them 5 stars.
Wendy's as a whole, though? The food is overpriced and not worth what is being paid by the consumer. While the chicken sandwich was warm and tasted decent enough, it is not a $9 sandwich. The burger my husband got was the Baconator and... um, it is far from the Baconator of the past. For the price tag, I'd expect a much better burger.
To clarify, this specific location did the best job it could with what they had. The negativity in this review is solely based on what Wendy's has become as a corporate brand. Maybe less snark on social media and more actual quality ingredients like Dave Thomas intended.
This location takes tap-to-pay at the window for those curious.“
