I've just experienced Kitchen 64 for the first time with a couple of friends. This place has kind of an old school diner feel. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. They found the balance between meeting our needs, and leaving us be to enjoy our conversation. The food arrived quickly and accurately. Everything we ate was fantastic. I go to brunch here a few times a year it seems, and it's always a great time. The host staff, servers, cooks- everyone is professional and friendly. Today six of us went and my omelet was awesome, the coffee flavorful and not too hot, and we all made yummy noises while eating. Lol. Oh, and the bathrooms are always clean. :)
Where to start, where to start?! Coming from a French culinary background, I know what I am talking about when it comes to food. After studying under Rifolfo Zimunyuan in Paris; I ended up moving to Richmond, VA to pursue a career in food trucks. My first truck was called "The Lonely Pickle" and our main dish was a fried pickle taco. Everyday during lunch I would sneak over to the Kitchen 64 and get the vegetarian nachos.
