This is such a great spot! My husband has been coming here for years. We recently visited Richmond again and we were craving pho. We got the Vietnamese coffee, a #6 and spring rolls. They are some of the best I’ve had!

Historically Pho So 1 (now Pho Thien Phat) was the best spot for pho in the RVA area. Now with additions of Pho Tay Do and improvements to the pho at Vietnam 1 over the years, this place has some alternatives but this place remains a go-to.Unfortunately with the rise in prices, I no longer think of pho as a relatively cheap and tasty way to get a less dense type of meal. Amazing little hole-in-the-wall place. I'll admit I was skeptical when I came here the first time, but that nervousness was quickly dispelled when I tried the food — it is exceptional, very delicious, and the staff are excellent. Amazing place to come for lunch or dinner. The pho in particular is spectacular, as expected, and I enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend. Kind of weird to find, but well worth it.
