I have always bought pupusas and food at the place, I have called to place my order and I have always had very good service!!! Staff was friendly, and pupusas were especially good and inexpensive. The smaller menu does make me think everything is fresh and mostly made on site, though I wish they had papas rellanas.In any case, very nice place to grab a quick lunch or have a casual dinner with some food you'd otherwise never experience.

The pupusas were delicious! We ordered three different kinds: queso, frijoles, and revuelta. They were all well seasoned and the cabbage slaw (curtido) was just right. We were so full for a very reasonable price. Pupuseria Mercedes is a little gem and well worth the visit.
