“Absolutely delightful! I stopped by Mom's Apple Pie at Hill High and was blown away by the apple pie — I should’ve bought more! It was perfectly baked, full of flavor, and felt like a warm hug in every bite. The lady who helped me was wonderful — kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what she does. You can tell when people put love into their work, and this place radiates it. A hidden gem I’ll definitely return to!“

I asked if he was the manager he said he was the owner. It really shows n this situation how the owner handles himself. If you could get a zero star he would get it. With over 500 reviews I rarely give a 1 star but this year it goes to the owner of this restaurant. My fair and honest reviews speak for themselves. As a business owner myself in the service industry as well as I use to own 4 food franchises owners should realize their word and communication is the most valuable asset. “I have heard how delicious the Pub food is so I decided to stop by for some takeout. Upon my arrival, I was greeted immediately & placed my order. The food did not disappoint! I ordered a reuben sandwich with fries which arrived within 15 minutes. It was delicious! While I was waiting for my food, I noticed a good sized area for outdoor dining as well as indoor seating. A group of 4 came in behind me & was seated immediately - I overheard their immediate comment that the music was too loud. I could see that having a quiet conversation might be difficult especially as the place gets busier. If you're looking for delicious food & friendly service, I would definitely recommend!“

“I visited Cassanel for the first time in December 2022 it was the last of 4 wineries I visited that day. Long overdue review shame on me. Some friends and myself like going to different wineries every time we have a chance and I honestly been coming back to Cassanel more than any other winery I thought I liked before. Let's begin with the staff, the amazing people who works here always welcome everyone with an amazing smile and warmth atmosphere. Theresa was the first person I meet and she is beyond amazing. Such a beautiful human being. Never been a wine person because always end up with that one wine super dry and strong flavor that I couldn't drink. The have not one wine that I can say I didn't like....but do have my favorites José Rosé and Dolce 😍😍 Yesterday (June 26, 2023) had the opportunity to meet Mr. José who's been with them for over 12 years and takes amazing care of the grapes, then got to meet Mr. Nelson (the owner) he is a wonderfu man and full fo good vibes. We had a wonderful conversation full laugh and now I understand why this winery is so amazing. 100% recommend, wines are delicious and affordable.“

“A few Saturday's back my wife and I visited this beautiful little farm brewery on our way down to the Washington DC suburbs. It's a delightful spot with a little bit of everything including a Saturday morning farmers market. The setting is rustic, and totally appropriate. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions regarding both food and drinks. Both the lunch and craft brews were awesome. Definitely a place worth h checking out.“

“Fun, comfortable place to stop in for a tasting with their knowledgable staff -- try everything, even if you don't think you like whiskey or gin. Everything is very drinkable (especially the Honey Hot Whiskey) and we always end up bringing a few bottles home.“

“This winery is great if you are looking for a good wine and peaceful place. It’s small but it has a great atmosphere. Their wines are excellent! I love their wine and chocolate praline tasting. We like this place for birthday parties as well as it’s usually not too crowded. Their outdoor is large with many places to sit. The indoor is small with just few tables. But as I mentioned, most of their members typically pick up their wines to go so it’s never an issue to find a spot to sit. The only negative thing I can say is that my kids don’t love going there because it’s not much to do for them, and the parking lot could use a bit of love. But we are members for about 6+ years and we truly like their wines. My family makes wines in Slovakia and I took them there as well and they enjoyed their wines a lot as well!“

“I recently celebrated my birthday at The Barns at Hamilton Station Vineyards, and it was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I reached out to Susan, their coordinator, I knew we were in great hands. She was incredibly responsive, professional, and accommodating—especially considering we had a large group.

The vineyard itself was beautiful and welcoming. We had such a great time enjoying the delicious wines—each one we tried was truly tasty and well-crafted. The charcuterie baskets were a hit too: generous portions, beautifully arranged, and full of flavor.

To top it all off, there was live music by Chris, which created the perfect atmosphere for a fun and relaxed afternoon. The entire team was so warm and friendly, and they made the experience feel special from start to finish.

My friends and I are already talking about coming back again soon. Highly recommend The Barns at Hamilton Station for any special occasion—or just a great day out!“

The Make Me Blush sangria is one of the best sangrias I’ve had…definitely recommend getting it and trying all in the sangria flight. “This isn't the cookie cutter brewery. The tap list shows imagination, a bit of experimentation, and some brews push the limits of what can still be described as beer. For example, the Imperial Stout was thick and a muddy beige color, like a milkshake and had the most amazing creamy nutty flavor that was unlike any beer or anything I've ever had before. About the place: the taproom was small with limited seating, the taplist had a very good variety, we sat on the outdoor patio, as the weather was nice the day we visited. I walked in excited to try everything Adroit Theory had available and I left the place very impressed. I can go to a different brewery every day and I won't come across anything quite like Adroit Theory. Well done, guys. My hats off to the good folks behind this concept!“

“Randomly passed by and stopped in for lunch on a long road trip back home from Maryland…and so very glad we did! Truffle fries, fig and brie flatbread, and strawberry cheesecake French toast…all so good!!! This was literally one of the best meals we’ve had in as far back as we can remember. “You cannot beat the view at Stone Tower Winery. I photographed a wedding this August at this venue and it felt like I was transported to the Tuscany countryside.

The staff was a breeze to work with. They were professional and were very helpful anytime I had questions or needed a golf cart ride to the other side of the property.

The hall is decorated in such a way that you can really do any color scheme or style in that room. It is neutral enough while also feeling modern and warm.

If you're looking for the best winery to get married at then look no further. Stone Tower is the place.“

“Nice vineyard, plenty of tables and selection of wines. The place was nice, but minus one star for the wines. The best one we had was Chere Marie. Had two different flights and we enjoy the Chere Marie white wine which is similar to Reislings. It has live singer too, overall a fun day with awesome weather.“
