Having tried Mexican cuisine during a visit to the California Bay area, I would say this place brings a similar vibe but with its own twist. The tacos are packed with bold flavors that elevate them beyond the standard Mexican food you typically get in Virginia. The food isn't masked with mounds of cheese and sour cream because it doesn't need to be. The staff is incredibly welcoming, making the whole experience even better. “This place is THE best Pho place i have ever had. I've tried a lot of places all throughout Virginia and Pho Saigon is probably the ONLY place I've ever been satisfied with. When I had Pneumonia a few months back, I literally drove 2.5 hours from Norfolk, JUST to get their soup because - and I'm not sure how - It's the BEST soup (and Pho place) I have ever had and makes me feel soooo much better. It's like medication in a soup! If I'm sick, I come here for my soup. When my father introduced me to this place years ago, it easily became one of my favorite places to ever eat when it came to soup. And fried rice! So much amazing flavor, GREAT portions, and honestly, if this place ever disappeared, I'd dig my own grave. Lmao. I hope it stays around for as long as I live. I'd drive across country for their food. If you haven't tried them, DO IT. Their Steak Pho Noodle soup is the best thing on this earth, and if I could, I'd have it every week, or even every day! You get well worth the money. Their Saigon bowl size is enough for 2 servings. On top of all of that, their customer service is to die for! Amazing people, and they are SO sweet. 1000000000%+ recommend!“

“We had our office Christmas party here and we were very well received. Devon took excellent care of us and our food was just wonderful. Everyone has a great meal and a good time. And the dogs everywhere touched a few of us especially. Great place and we'll be back!

“Also, this is a chain restaurant the team here at this location, treated as if you were their own personal reputation on the line. I grew up going here for special occasions; in high school I went multiple times a month with friends; as a college student, I look forward to coming home and visiting here. “Food is great and wait staff is awesome. Not large party friendly. Had a party of 10 and was told we could only be seen if we were all on one check. We were coming from church and the party consisted of 5 couples. We had been there before with no issues getting separate checks. Was told it was a weekend policy implemented 3 months ago. We have been there within the last month and was not told this. No bad experiences prior. Assuming the manager just did not want to accommodate us.“

“Food is plentiful and delicious. Servers are really nice and bring the food to you quickly. If I could please make two suggestion: 1. Not sure how other customers feel, the heavy duty napkins are nice but we like the napkin dispenser on the table, that way we have the amount of napkins we need to keep our hands clean eating their nice big bar-b-cue sandwich?; 2. it also would help if you used a duplicate order pads (one copy at the cash register and one for the customer so the server can bring the check to the customer so they can see what they owe ahead of time and also makes the customer aware the servers shift might be ending ..r know the servers can see what they owe before they get to the register, it also would help the customer know the server’s shift is almost over. Unfortunately we missed giving our server her tip two times because B f“

“I wasn't really a brewery guy, but Strangeways will be a Saturday night regular for us.
We just moved to the area and were looking for some advertised live music. Well Strangeways had exactly that. A sick punk band R NØT was playing and they rocked!
I really enjoyed both drinks, their Apple Cider, and spiked Orange Soda. Both delicious and easy to drink. There was a food truck that had some nice pizza as well. Staff were real friendly.
Saturday nights live music. Sundays sometimes live music, sometimes other events. Thursday night trivia.
Check their website. It shows the extra stuff happening. That's what brought us in the door.“

“I had to go on the Med diet and was restricted to what I could eat. So I googled best Greek restaurant in Fredericksburg, VA and Parthenon came up. So we tried it. Google got this one right. The food is excellent. All homemade. I always get the Greek salad large with gyro meat. It is so good . We got the pizza there just today and it was just wonderful. The folks that run it are so friendly and make you feel at home and the store is just a trip back to the 1980s. So to all our Colonial Beach friends if you want good fresh homemade healthy food, the next trip to the doctor at MWH, go up the hill to the old Park and Shop. The Parthenon is located near the car wash and Allmans. You won’t be disappointed, ever.“

“We love the food at Curry & Kabob and usually get it when we are at the mall. On Father's Day, I asked my husband what he'd like, and he wanted spicy lamb biryani! So I knew exactly where to go. I got the mild chicken biryani for our son, chicken tika for myself, and spicy lamb biryani for my husband. He said the flavor was good, but the spice level was pretty low. It's okay. The flavor and portion size make up for that. It was two meals for my husband & son, and three meals for me!“

“For the last 3 years I have visited WRV with my coworkers to celebrate retirement of staff/family moving on from dedicating and giving their all to their students to now dedicating 100% of their time to their family and loved ones. We cannot say enough about the lovely Denise, her daughter Victoria and all of the staff and how WONDERFUL they treat us and welcome us with open arms! We will be back OFTEN and we absolutely LOVE the environment, the beauty of the place, the amazing view and all the owners/workers! THANK YOU AGAIN FOR AN AMAZING TIME!“
