“A very nice property for your event, whether it's a simple party (birthday, retirement, etc.) or a wedding. There's a beautiful vineyard area to do your ceremony although there's no nearby electricity if you want to have a sound system OR DJ or other vendor that would need such a utility for it (protip: you'll need about 200 feet of electrical cord to reach from the main building to vineyard). The main house itself is functional for cocktail hour in the back porch or you can even use the house for lodging (they offer it as an Airbnb when not offering the property for events) and it has a hot tub as well as swimming pool. Finally, there's a nearby wine tasting room which can be used for the dance area or the main event with small guest count. If you have a lot of guests, the Tasting Room can be used as a dance area while a tent can be set up outside for the dinner portion of your event as well as a place for guests to sit and relax. There's plenty of parking on the property and it is easy to find off of the main road as well as main highway. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.“

“Pizza is pretty good for theme park food ! Thin with crust outer edge being crunchy(perfect) ...cheese had good flavor and an ample amount of pepperoni. Even the breadsticks were good....andbthey are just bread. They were soft with slight hint of garlic.“
“Honestly great BBQ for an amusement park. The portions are decent and we really enjoyed the KD BBQ sauce. We had the 1/2 smoked chicken, pulled pork, and chicken tenders. The chicken tenders were huge and moist. My daughter said they were some of the best chicken tenders she has ever had in her life. The pulled pork was really tender and had great flavor even before putting the sauce on it. Smoked chicken also wasn't dry, and had great smoky flavor to it. The mac and cheese was surprisingly good as well. Potato wedges were, well, potato wedges so I think its hard to screw those up. Overall, we bought three platters for two adults a teen girl and tween boy and everyone was full. Now, the prices are still amusement park prices so with the food and drinks it was seventy dollars. So, take that into consideration. But that was our one meal in the park so we were ok with it. We go to KD every year and I will definitely go back for food at The Pit.“

“This review is all about the food. While the staff were friendly and the dining area was quaint, there is no better lunch time food experience than here. Everything they make is outstanding! Best lunch time chicken experience by far! Would recommend for a great, not-break-the-bank get more than you'd expect experience. Portions were outstanding, side were scrumptious and the Peruvian charcoal fired chicken? Muey sabroso! Delicioso! In Ashland? Give this place a try....“

“I was very disappointed with the French toast. It was rubbery and couldn't even absorb any syrup. I have had many meals at Cracker Barrel in various cities and always had a good experience and meal. This time meal was very less than desirable.“

“I enjoyed the Shrimp Scampi with Spaghetti and would highly recomend. The Spaghetti was a perfect al dente and the shrimp was also cooked to perfection (there is that fine line to over cooked and under cooked shrimp, yet happily this was just right). I also very much enjoyed the scampi sauce. I sat at the bar where TJ as usual gave great service.“
