“I have been coming to Brooklyn Bagel weekly for over a decade. They have hands down the best bagels in the region, and also the best employees (I call them my bagel heroes)! Even with the recent growth of other bagel spots in the region, Brooklyn Bagel remains the best. Absolutely worth the trip! Be prepared for lines on the weekend and bring cash to pay and tip to make the experience better for everyone.“

“As someone who has wanted to try Cracked for some time, I was finally able to do so. The animal was precisely what I expected: hearty and meaty goodness. My only complaint is that I wish they had put more crack sauce and salt/pepper on the eggs. The tots were fried perfectly and properly coated with Old Bay. There is a great atmosphere and peaceful surroundings that make you forget that you're in the middle of NOVA.

Parking: Garage parking is available, but you can also opt for street parking closer to Boeing Bridge Park or by the sports field and enjoy a nice pre- and post-meal stroll.“

As a diner who digs texture as much as sauce/spread, the avocado was a touch heavy-handed, drowning out that wonderful latke. This might be the case across the board, as pictures indicate they are generous with their spreads. Not a critique, as so many love that, just one dude’s take. “I'm from Long Island, NY and 100% a bagel snob. I've been to more than a few places here and this place is #1 when it comes to bagels and sandwiches. They used to make egg everything bagels on the daily (my fav) but stopped since I guess not many people bought them, which is the only somewhat negative thing I can say. However, they will make them if you ask for a dozen a day ahead. Either way, their bagels are always fresh and warm and delicious. Their egg sandwiches on bagels are amazing as well! This is the only place that is even slightly comparable to NY and I will stand by that forever!“

“Solid family-owned deli serving up bagels and sandwiches for a relatively reasonable price. The turkey avocado sandwich was good but needed a little salt and pepper. They don’t bake their bread or bagels or smoke their meats in-house, but it’s still a decent spot if you’re in the neighborhood. I’ll be back to try a breakfast bagel.“
