“Wow, service was way above the box coffee places and the bagels were awesome. I ordered Bacon, egg, & cheese on a Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel and a coffee. The bagel was so good I went back and got a second one for later as well as a fruit cup for on the run. Price was good for the what I got, but the service, they were phenomenal. While standing in line and then waiting for my divine food, the customers and staff knew each other and were having dialogue, imagine that, a friendly atmosphere.

Thank you to the crew, you all were awesome and helped make a nice day into a beautiful one.

If you can swing it, I highly recommend giving them a shot and if like my experience, you will not be disappointed.“

“I have been coming to Brooklyn Bagel weekly for over a decade. They have hands down the best bagels in the region, and also the best employees (I call them my bagel heroes)! Even with the recent growth of other bagel spots in the region, Brooklyn Bagel remains the best. Absolutely worth the trip! Be prepared for lines on the weekend and bring cash to pay and tip to make the experience better for everyone.“

“The bagels here are very good and the service is so quick! There’s a large variety and they sell them by the bag as well. The ladies who work here are also very nice. The coffee is pretty good.

However, I’ve noticed that the person who handles the cash (it’s a cash-only store) is also the one who grabs the bagels. While she wears gloves, she uses the same pair for both touching cash and bagels. This doesn’t seem hygienic to me, especially since there are usually many customers. I thought it was a one-off thing, but recently I’ve noticed it happening every time I order a bagel. This alone has me questioning if I’ll keep going here.“

“Fantastic breakfast sandwiches in the area. Bagels are soft and seasoned well. You get a generous portion of bacon/sausage, egg and cheese. It's definitely worth the money. They have a lot of seating available if you eat there and there staff is very nice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!“

“Call Your Mother is a charming little gem in Georgetown that absolutely delivers on flavor! We tried the Thunder Hard Bagel and the Edgewater Bagel both were delicious and paired perfectly with their freshly brewed coffee. A simple but satisfying combo that hits every time.

“We’ve been regular customers since well before Neal’s moved to its current location. The bagels are delicious (more New Yorky and flavorful than others in the area) and always fresh. The sliced turkey breast, Nova, and chicken salad are some of our favorites. Lots of other tasty menu items too. Highly recommend!“

“This is my go-to for lunch when I am at the office and I've been going for 5 years. Family run business that makes the best sandwiches in Tysons. It's in the basement of an office building and is a very utilitarian space--you don't come here for the atmosphere. That said, it is always clean and well stocked with non-alcoholic drinks. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are both great. You can eat there, or grab and take back to your office if you are nearby. My co-workers and I think the prices are on the low side, but that may be the economics of their location. A typical sandwich there is anywhere from $3-$5 cheaper than what you would expect topside in the Boro or Galleria, and the portions are actually bigger.

In particular, I want to recognize Malik. He is consistently professional, kind, and helpful, and his commitment to customer service is truly top-tier. While all of your staff are wonderful, Malik definitely stands out.
